Terrible Experience – Not Safe or Supportive I booked this hotel expecting a safe and relaxing weekend for me and my daughter. We drove from New York to Quebec, and from the start, the experience was disappointing. The border patrol was rude and unwelcoming, making sarcastic comments that set a negative tone for the trip. When we checked in on Friday, I parked my SUV in a spot within walking distance of the lobby, near the spa facility. The next morning, I discovered my car had been broken into and someone had attempted to steal it. When I reported this to the hotel staff, the manager told me that although the parking lot was on hotel property, they weren’t responsible for what happened. They also refused to offer a refund for the night I didn’t stay, directing me to call Expedia for that. The lack of assistance from the hotel was frustrating. I called 911 three times to file a report and receive a police report for my insurance claim. I was told someone would call me back, but I didn’t hear from the police until Monday afternoon—two days later! This entire experience was a nightmare, and I will never return to Canada or stay at any Sheraton hotel again. I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe or supportive stay.

My room 207 is quite noisy due to its facing highway. We hope there’s EV charging stations available within hotel’s parking facilities.

Clean

The Sheraton Laval makes a great first impression from the outside and in the lobby, but the rooms tell a different story. The wallpaper in my room was peeling, the overall humidity made the space uncomfortable, and the in-room fridge was so weak it couldn’t keep bottled water cold. For the price charged, the experience simply does not meet expectations. Unfortunately, it feels closer to a 2-star stay than the quality one would expect from a Sheraton.

We went there for my daughter’s competition in the congress center. It was nice to be onsite. Big shopping center accros the street with food court, everything was perfect. Will definitely go there again, worth the price.

Washroom shower is below average

The ambulance was beautiful, and the service was great. I also liked the convenience of the shopping center across the street.

Excellent location just next to the beautiful mall Carrefour Laval. Excellent restaurant and friendly service!

Water pressure in shower was weak. There were some hairs stuck to bathroom ceiling.

Great hotel, beautiful decor, very friendly service. My only complaints are the low light level in the room and the lack ofa grab bar along the tub. Treacherous for older folks .
