This hotel was used to host people from the wild fires and the people from a First Nation reserve that had no drinking water. We were relocated to the Hilton, across the street, a much fancier hotel and were very happy with this last one.

Hotel didn't have a room for us and said they were housing evacuees and had moved us to another hotel. We arrived at the "other" hotel and they didn't have a room for us and said we had been moved to a third hotel. Went to that now third hotel, and they looked at me like I was crazy and had no idea what I was talking about.

Good Afternoon, I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out to you from Wyndham Garden to provide an important update regarding your upcoming stay with us. At the moment, we are currently providing temporary housing for evacuees due to the lack of access to safe drinking water on their reserve following a sewage-related contamination of the water supply. The Canadian government has requested our assistance for housing these individuals, and as a result of this we currently have to relocate all of our guests that were planning to stay with us. At this time, we have made a new arrangement and upgraded your stay at the Wyndham Grand Hotel. Please know that the Wyndham Grand Hotel will honor your original reservation room rate, however they do not offer the same room type as you originally booked so they will be providing you with 2 rooms being 1 King bed and 2 Queen Beds at no additional cost to your stay. However, since they are a higher star property they have a security deposit of $50 on a credit card each night which will be released back upon your departure. If paying with Debit or Cash, the deposit must be collected in person when you check out and will be $300CAD. Additionally, please bring a valid government-issued ID (Passport, Driver's License, or Ontario Photo ID) for check-in. Please note that Wyndham Grand do not have any microwaves in the rooms as part of their safety policies. They do have mini fridges and coffee makers in the rooms. Also, if you Ple

Great location only a few minutes to walk to the falls and 20 minutes from Clifton Hill. The room was clean but the pool area was not. The front-desk staff were efficient and polite but the parking attendant yelled at my husband for not loading our car quickly enough at check-out

The room was so clean and the staff was so helpful! We got a free upgrade to the jacuzzi room and were so thankful for it! Hotel is located right where you want to be and it even has a tunnel to the casino. I wish parking was a little more obvious because the directions to the hotel did take us to the front (where parking isn’t easily seen), but honestly i could’ve called beforehand so that’s on me for not doing so. all in all great hotel i would definitely stay here again!!!!

I was moved to a different hotel. I booked and paid for a premium family suite at this property. I was given a basic room at a different hotel . And offered no refund or price adjustment. Just a crappy breakfast buffet. Still haven’t heard from Expedia either.

We were “upgraded” to the Wyndham Grand hotel from the Wyndham Garden Inn. This was not an upgrade at all. The room was incredibly small, smelled awful and nothing like the picture. We accepted the upgrade because we were aware that our initial hotel was housing people due to poor conditions on the reserve. We were celebrating our 25th Wedding anniversary which was noted on the booking. When I asked to be moved to a room a little higher up floor wise, I was told the hotel was sold out. It wasn’t. The front desk clerk was not truthful. We booked a city view at our initial hotel and expected to get the same at the Wyndham Grand; however the window faced the parking garage.
