Yes everything was great.other than on Sunday morning because of the location I guess there were loud noises sounded like a club or a gym it went on for hours..... The suites are located in the heart of the city walking distance from the National museum , planetarium, bullfighting ring plaza de toros la Santamaría , there is a mall near by “San Martin” where you can find Crepes and waffles by far my favorite restaurant when I visit Colombia. The main square plaza de Bolivar is walking distance from the hotel taking 7th avenue across the street to the south is a pedestrian zone so you can walk nicely everywhere . Don’t miss out the Gold Museum, The Botero museum and Centro cultural Gabriel Garcia Marquez . (Make sure the museums are open before heading out and also the weather). I love the suites , breakfast is top notch I have not encountered anything similar around the world yet . My room had a Mountain View no matter the time of the day it was astonishing. I did not mind the noise because is located over a main avenue and glass is not noise proof . I’m an early bird so it was ok for me, but if this is a concern to you better ask for a different room.

Breakfast buffet is hectic. This is one area were the staff could greatly improve. They need to change the set up because everyone is packed in the center isle trying to get their food and also waiters add to the bottleneck. 3 days in the row my wife asked one of the servers she like to have ham and cheese omelet and all 3 days he brought undercooked omelet with corn, onions an mushrooms. The suites are very very large and nice, almost like an apartment with kitchenate. Only problem is the road noise is very uncomfortable at night, even though you close the windows the bikes and race car noise will enter your room. Bring earplugs.

I stayed at Hotel Tequendama Suites Bogotá and unfortunately my overall experience was mixed. The exterior of the hotel look old, and there were homeless people around the area, along with a very unpleasant smell outside, which made the surroundings feel uncomfortable. In the room, the shower had problems with the hot water, as it would stop working while I was using it. However, I want to highlight that the restaurant staff were extremely kind, attentive, and provided excellent service. They were one of the best parts of my stay. Overall, while the staff were friendly, I believe there are better hotels in Bogotá with better locations and more reliable facilities.
