Tequendama Suites and Hotel

I have stayed here probably 10 times over the past 10 years and unfortunately this time there were some minor issues that added up. The Customer Service was great, as was the Breakfast. The room was huge, but the chain on the door was broken and did not work. A light in the larger bathroom was broken and sort of hanging there. The internet went down at night so television was unavailable and again in the morning so I could not book an UBER, had to walk to a coffee shop nearby to use their WiFi.

Siempre que escojo hoteles , escojo con calificación VIP. Este es uno de ellos; sin embargo, está muy lejos de ser un servicio VIP. La zona donde está ubicado no es la mejor, sus alrededores son muy oscuros y peligrosos según nos indicaron . Tienen muy pocas opciones de restaurantes. En el hotel el desayuno es muy deficiente y en 5 días de servicio siempre fue lo mismo. Muy, muy malo. El servicio en la habitación muy lamentable , uno de los días a las 5 pm estaban haciendo servicio de limpieza y nunca rellenaron los artículos de limpieza, nos dejaron para 5 días dos botellitas de champú que se acaban en un solo uso. Hice reservación de tres habitaciones. Aunque tenía una Master Suite nunca vi diferencia en el servicio. En la habitación el refrigerador todo lo congelaba y se lo hice ver a la mucama y NUNCA llegó mantenimiento. Luego quise hacer uso de la plantilla eléctrica y tampoco funcionaba, llamé a recepción por ayuda y quedaron en enviar a mantenimiento , mismo que esperaba desde hacía dos dias. No comprendo como lo califican VIP porque me hicieron incurrir en un error terrible del cual me arrepiento haber escogido. El servicio que ofrecen de transporte en el aeropuerto hay que pagarlo , entonces no entiendo para que lo ofrecen. Tuve que pedir en el registro mi beneficio VIP, porwue no me lo ofrecieron, pero para ser justa les indiqué y me lo dieron (nada extraordinario, por cierto ) En resumen , muy arrepentida de haber escogido este hotel.

La seguridad es pésima

El personal de recepción y seguridad son excelentes. La habitación es amplia y cómoda, sin embargo la habitación 2608, no tiene toallero ni donde poner objetos dentro de la ducha.

The hotel is conveniently located for accessing the airport at a low cost. While the hotel requires significant renovations due to its dated condition, it offers more spacious accommodations compared to many other hotels in Bogotá. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast, but improvements are definitely needed in the overall facilities. Nevertheless, the amenities provided are quite impressive.

Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas, el personal de recepción y seguridad es excepcional. El desayuno es variado.

Desayuno estaba pobre, el café frío no había gran variedad. Había fallos en el baño y en la tubería de la cocina, solo desconectaron el servicio. El aseo fue pobre, no surten de café ni lavan los pasillos del cuarto.

This is my third stay and I have to say the quality has gone down every time I come back. The rooftop bar was closed for renovations and the room did not have the usual dining stuff that comes with the suite. Forks, knives, and plates. And the view was horrible. Overall it is one of the better hotels I just wish they'd try a little harder. Breakfast was so so

The hotel is located near the national art museum and the modern art one. There are plenty of food and banking options in the area.

The bathroom sink the water was raining up and not drained i cutting brush my teeth the shower at the time i open black water was coming down by the pipe and then disappear also they say online that they provide free transportation from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport is all a lie be aware i ask at the front desk and i got the smile face saying oh for a fee a will overall no happy with the stay the room not even offer water they give you coffe but you have to use the water from the pipe the refrigerator was off smelling lights was not working not all the lights a few overall please think before you book for me the experience was poor for the amount of money i pay was not worth it. Breakfast was Cain ok

Me parece que Expedia debe verificar las propiedades que mercadea, porque he tenido una de las peores experiencias en alojamiento. Daños electricos, fugas de agua, mal internet, fria, etc. Ya creo que Expedia genera falsas expectativas y hasta es engañoso las propiedades que promueve. Esta es la 3a vez que me pasa. En USA y Colombia.
