The suites are located in the heart of the city walking distance from the National museum , planetarium, bullfighting ring plaza de toros la Santamaría , there is a mall near by “San Martin” where you can find Crepes and waffles by far my favorite restaurant when I visit Colombia.
The main square plaza de Bolivar is walking distance from the hotel taking 7th avenue across the street to the south is a pedestrian zone so you can walk nicely everywhere . Don’t miss out the Gold Museum, The Botero museum and Centro cultural Gabriel Garcia Marquez . (Make sure the museums are open before heading out and also the weather). I love the suites , breakfast is top notch I have not encountered anything similar around the world yet . My room had a Mountain View no matter the time of the day it was astonishing. I did not mind the noise because is located over a main avenue and glass is not noise proof . I’m an early bird so it was ok for me, but if this is a concern to you better ask for a different room.

The hotel is clean and located close to touristic landmarks
The breakfast is simple but drinks stand out
The room is spacious and well organized, maintained.
The problems we had or I can say discomfort experience was the there are no drink water available in the hotel room so when you check in late, you would better prepare it or just do room service.
We had hair dryer broken for all days of staying for 4 nights with 10 to 20 degrees in Bogota.
Even though you ask to repair or change it, they will just say yes and send people who do nothing.

I stayed at Hotel Tequendama Suites Bogotá and unfortunately my overall experience was mixed. The exterior of the hotel look old, and there were homeless people around the area, along with a very unpleasant smell outside, which made the surroundings feel uncomfortable.
In the room, the shower had problems with the hot water, as it would stop working while I was using it.
However, I want to highlight that the restaurant staff were extremely kind, attentive, and provided excellent service. They were one of the best parts of my stay.
Overall, while the staff were friendly, I believe there are better hotels in Bogotá with better locations and more reliable facilities.

Staff qas overall professional.
The suite I reserved has issues with the shower. Not enough towels for 3 Guests. No kitchen utensils. A refrigerator thta did not work.
The next morning the supplied a small fridge, towwrls and sent the plumber to fix the shower. Even though they were proactive fixing the issues. All those things should not be happening.
This is not a lower cost stay and I shouldn’t have deal with repairs during my stay.
