Great place to stay for its history, 101 years old, of course renovated. It’s all good, Only one thing want to mention, there is no gym here or you need to pay 50U for that.

Hotel with a lot of character. Very pleasant experience. Close to sites and city has great tram system. Taxis horribly expensive which has nothing to do with hotel. Due to rain did not get to use terrace which looked enticing. Excellent. a/c. Comfortable room.

The concierge brought our luggage up to our room. We weren’t even there, and he left my coffee mug on the new sofa. In the end, I was treated unfairly, as if I’d been the one to do it. The restaurant staff, especially the women, also behaved appallingly when, at 10.30 am, they were told they could clear the tables. They started shovelling food into their mouths in front of the guests whilst clearing the Buffet.. The valet also failed to follow my instructions. I told him the handbrake was broken and asked him to please put a note in the car, otherwise it would make a terrible noise – but of course, he didn’t do it. Positive: It was very nice that we were given a brand-new, refurbished room. The safe wasn't working. There were coffee capsules, but no coffee machine. There was hot water for tea, but no tea. This is the first time I’ve had a complaint. I’ve been going there for years otherwise. I can clearly remember the concierge from the valet service, who’s certainly been working there for over 40 years. Of all the hotel staff, he was the only one who was genuinely helpful;TOP

Hotel is undergoing a gradual renovation which is needed. Rooms were very dusty and cleaning is an issue. Restaurant menu was very limited and dissapointing. The bar was just OK. Very little concern for customer service. Staff are poorly trained. Considering its supposed to be the best hotel in Zagreb, Honestly it needs new leadership badly.
