The hotel was amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Receptionists and concierge were always available and accommodating. The only thing is the turndown service. They come early and if we are in the room don’t bother coming back again.
Never once in 4 days.
Location of the hotel is perfect and close to everything.

The hotel is beautiful. We loved the history and character. The rooms were very comfortable. However, the service was uneven. We were told that we could order room service until 1am, so ordered. Waited an hour and nothing. When we called, we were told that there weren’t any kitchen staff and someone had come to our door to let us know. We had answered the door but no one was there and no message. When we mentioned this, they provided us with cocktails the next day. We ordered again on another day, but it took almost an hour and the food and coffee arrived cold. The eggs were flavorless. We asked that they provide us with the coffee pods given that our coffee was cold, but these never arrived. Given it is considered a luxury hotel, not impressed.

The smart TV system which could be used for in-room dining orders was lagging a lot. It was unusable for the task, if a click on one of the arrows takes several minutes to switch the selection.
