The hotel was on a quaint street. In walking distance to restaurants, local souvenir shops and other hotels. The room was clean and recently renovated, beautiful pools with colorful lights at night, well lit area on the hotel property and surrounding streets. The staff was just awesome. The check in attendance carried our luggage up the stairs (there are NO elevators). He explained where the dinner area was and what was in walking distance. The check out staff was very, very helpful. Luis was the only fluent English speaking person and he went overboard in assisting us, made us feel like family. He brought our luggage down, translated for us with the transportation guy, and made sure we had breakfast. He had the staff mail some postcards for me. He, Eidily and Brandon stayed with us until our transportation came and waved goodbye, just like we were family. I would definitely stay there again. If you want a quaint, clean newly renovated place to stay, Soficu Eden Dominicus is the place to stay.

Perfect for me. Large rooms with private bathrooms, a pool and a good reasonable priced restaurant, beautiful plants, trees, flowers-true El Eden, Tainos statues, and a short-15 min walk to Dominicus public beach- everything I wanted and more. Because of the very reasonable price of the lodging it didn’t bother me that they didn’t have a light in front of my door, or that the building was old and squiquing something when walking inside- it had air conditioner and a vent. Overall- I LOVED it!

Nice hotel with all neccessary, nice room, nice pool and good breakfast. Hotel staff is very kind. It is not next to the beach but not so far.

Room was very good. Modern and comfortable. The rest of the complex was like a motel in the states. Partly run down and ramshackle. My Spanish came on leaps and bounds as nobody could speak English. The power cut over night on the final day helped my restless sleep no end. If you like rustic, noisy and no WiFi. Book today.

It was terrible nothing worked. The shower didn’t work at all, the air conditioning didn’t work it wouldn’t go lower than 23. They didn’t provide anything to do the guest not even water or soap in the rooms and then when I complained about my room especially the shower because I at least needed this more than anything nothing was done. I asked for a different room and I was told I couldn’t get it. So I ended up staying one night and checking out early losing 2 days. I paid for another hotel which ended up being so much better but I did lose the money I spent on this hotel. I want my money back.

Located in a developing tourist area. A little over a hour from PUJ Airport. Staff friendly but not multilingual. Not a real Restaurant. Grounds are spacious, kept & being upgraded. You get what you pay for & great place for families & alone time.

Good for a short stay. Breakfast could be better, maybe a more dominican breakfast option or more variety. Air conditioning was not working but not needed because it was not too hot. Is a small nice hotel if you are looking to a peaceful stay. Not much to do in the little town.
