Great value for a night for our family and breakfast, inclusive of use of pool which waa tired but fine for us

The hotel and rooms are dated and tired, need refurbishing

Convenient location close to motorways. Very comfortable room.

The staff are friendly but the hotel is old and need more cleaning specially the pool and spa area, breakfast was okay but coffee machine kept breaking down, by the time I got coffee my food was cold!

Happy with our stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms with comfy beds. I liked the dressing gowns and slippers which were handy for the pool. Breakfast was good and evening meal was nice. Overall a good hotel that served us well for a weekend break

Great hotel. Receptionist Lewis was so welcoming. A true asset to the hotel

Staff were all very friendly at reception. The staff member on duty at the pool reception early (7 am) Sunday morning was more interested in watching his screen than talking to us. The rooms are spacious with generous sized bathrooms. Furniture and fittings are all a little worn looking but perfectly adequate for our trip.

Room looked dated, shabby and in dire need of renovation.

Served a purpose. Although for £130/night disappointed. Toilet was leaking, shower was tired and no slip mat or hand rail. Beds were hard with thin covers. Air conditioning didn’t work properly and just blew cold air all night. Needs facelift. No water in rooms. Decent bar area and gym. Parking was £8 for overnight stay…

Nice pool, big room deffo stay again

Very well equipped and lovely quiet room with super coffy bed. Would definitely come here again if in the area.

We had a five night stay in total. Our room was upgraded so we were in a large and newly refurbished superior king. It was quiet, clean and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Overall really good. Pool and jacuzzi are a really good feature and staff very helpful. Room had a smwll of humidity but everything else was ok.

The room was comfortable and generally well maintained, but unfortunately the cleanliness of the in-room amenities was disappointing. The coffee mugs were not properly cleaned, and the electric kettle had significant limescale buildup, which came out every time we tried to heat water. We requested a replacement kettle at night, and while it was slightly better, it still had similar limescale issues. For a brand like DoubleTree, we were expecting a higher standard of attention to detail. Overall the stay was okay, but better maintenance and cleaning of basic room facilities would greatly improve the guest experience.
