DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol North

We needed a room with two double beds, which we got, however, both are very small and not enough space for three adults. It meant, we were in a room with internal adjoining doors. The door was not fitted well, and we were woken up at 2am with people next door talking loudly. The room was very tired and not the same spec we had when we stayed previously. The kettle was broken and leaking, a safety hazard. We had to ask several times for a replacement. We booked the room for three adults, and only had cups, glasses and tea/coffee for two, again had to ask for more. We were disappointed this time.

I expected better was awful

Toilet in the room was slow to drain and overflowing. Room appeared a little dated but was clean and comfy.

Our stay was perfect. Long drive down and needed a break. Welcome very friendly quick checkin. Room nice clean spacious along with en-suite.food was very good lovely weather and we sat outside and relaxed. Nice seating area.

We had another amazing stay at this Hotel which we come to every year whilst visiting family & friends. The staff are so friendly and go out of there way to ensure you are happy with everything. The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. Good amenities too..Highly recommend.

Being a Hilton I expected better, this was our first experience of a Hilton Hotel, it was quite disappointing. The good points were that staff are all lovely friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the room quieter than some other hotels. The tv was a good size too. The bad points sadly go much further. The room and general building was tired. Shower in the bath with no proper pressure. The bathroom was clean but tired and stained in places. The first day we opted not to have housekeeping to try and save the planet a little. But we ran out of complimentary tea bags in our room so the next day we opted in, only to be disappointed to find that the towels had been replaced,the bed made but no replacement tea-bags or tissues and the bin hadnt even been emptied. The charge for parking was a covert charge too it added an extra £25 to a three night stay. There is free off street parking outside the hotel but as a paying guest you should be able to park in the carpark for no extra charge. The restaurant menu was very basic, and expensive, which was another irritant, when you stay in a hotel you dont want to go out to eat and drink, the whole purpose of staying in a hotel is the fact that its all under one roof. We only ate once in the restaurant not because there was anything wrong with the food or because it was so expensive, it was mainly because the menu was so basic and tbh boring. People dont mind expensive if its a decent choice. We shall stick with Accor in future

Very dated, around the hotel and in the rooms especially. Service was brilliant, but this did not portray top level Hilton that we were expecting

Excelente hotel. Mesmo não tendo muito domínio da língua inglesa fui muito bem recebido na recepção, quarto do hotel é espaçoso e confortável. Hotel conta com piscina aquecida e estacionamento, gostei muito do hotel e recomendo.

Great hotel for the price. Had everything we needed. Large room. Large and comfortable bar area with reasonably priced food. Other food outlets nearby. The room was generally good but sink and toilet could do with an upgrade (sink cracked).

Average hotel, having to pay for parking in the hotel car park as a guest over the weekend in a location such as this is ridiculous and for that reason we won’t stay there again.
