Hired a meeting room and booked 5 rooms with breakfast, some confusion over booking but all resolved smoothly and apologised. Food was excellent, as was the service. Will definitely use again.

Visited for a family funeral recently and the staff were so kind, polite and helpful. Greeted with a smile at every occasion and a warm Cooke on check in. Breakfast was lovely, not greasy and plenty to choose from. Gym was well equipped and air conditioned. Pool was warm and clean. I stayed in the newly refurbished rooms which were clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean and the shower was powerful. The bed was large and very comfortable. I will definitely be staying again if I require a hotel in that area. Thank you for a lovely stay

Walls very thin, could hear next door talking and showers going on. Room itself was ok.

The first night I had the sirloin steak and it was cooked beautifully and they did a dpecial side salad as I could not have chips. And had a cute towel as an elephant on the bed.

Cold Cold Cold. Despite it being minus 1, the hotel switches off it's heating in the rooms at night. Full heating in the morning, so it wasn't not broken. Reception asked if I reported it, but alas - it wasn't broken!

Went for this option on a one night stay in the area due to trusted name. Have to stay everyone was friendly and helpful but the place is a bit tired which I think comes from the frequency of use. Probably hard to keep up with. Wouldn’t rush back and would look at other options perhaps newer places. Was not too cheap either. Food was ok and as I say all the team were superb just let down by condition of hotel which is a bit tired.

There were elements that could of been better, not made aware of breakfast info when checked in, room was ok but basic and mirrors and chairs needed cleaning, lots of crumbs down the side of the chair. Jacuzzi wasn’t working and there were clumps of hair on the tiles in the swimming pool

I messaged the property for a query 3 days before my booking and only received a reply on the day of the booking. The room was comfortable but there were hairballs on the floor, no fridge and the room was freezing when we entered and needed a few hours to go back to normal temperature.Breakfast was alright, pastries finished at 8:30am and never got any more out although buffet was closing at 10am.

My room was well equiped and clean. There was damage to bathroom floor tiles and sink, controls on the shower were damaged but everything was clean and everything worked. Tje little coffee maker was great once I figured it out and the welcome chocolate chip cookie was very nice. My food, a chicken burger and fries was only warm, not hot. It was tasty though. The parking was £8 which i wadnt aware of until I had booked. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice.

We turned up around 530pm as we walked into the two rooms the fire alarm starting going off so we left our bags and carried our 2 babies and 6 year old away from the rooms. The staff didn’t know which way to send us and there was a lot of confusion. Eventually we found our way to lobby where everyone else in the hotel was stood while the fire alarm is still going off. No staff members where around to explain what’s going on or tell us where to stand, it was freezing cold as well. People were shouting and swearing. After a long 15 minutes staff member showed up and started talking to people while one woman was drunk and swearing and being aggressively rude and shouting. After a while we had to tell staff they need to deal with her and in the end we had to call the police as nobody else was. After an hour of standing around with no real guidance we finally where allowed back to the rooms but were trying to avoid the drunk lady. The rooms were not cleaned, pubes all over the bathroom (we told staff and they didn’t make effort to clean it or offer any type of compensation due to the fact we had to end up cleaning bother bathrooms before bathing our children) We ordered room service and were given a plant based burger instead of the meat one, food was cold and overpriced for what it was. Overall we were happy to leave in the morning and get away. Staff need training on fire alarm procedures, dealing with drunk/angry guests who are scaring young children and better cleaners

Our stay was ok. It was nothing special and we wouldn't go back. First of all, paying £8 to use their car park when you've already paid to stay with them. The rooms and hallways are drab and old fashioned. We were disappointed that our booking was for a queen bed and we got a standard double and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned particularly well. I'm vegan and the menu didn't really have any option for me so we ordered in a pizza to take to the room. A table of 4 next to us ordered in a chinese and sat in reception chatting & eating so when ours arrived we just started to eat where we were. Whilst the table next to us was still eating, we got asked to return to our room. No outside food in reception. When i challenged the staff member he said that he didn't realise they were eating. Could have been genuine but nonetheless embarrassing for us and he never did approach the other table who carried on eating. We chose the hotel for late check out so to be awoken by housekeeping at 8am banging on the door next to us shouting housekeeping and then sounding as if they were moving all the furniture made us get up early. At breakfast (which is not cheap), staff member was so disinterested and clearly bored. I asked her whether there was a vegan option. Her response was 'I don't think we have one. We've got veggie sausages but i don't think they are vegan'. Overall disappointing but it was overall kept well, nice bar and staff generally nice.
