What can I say, this place did not disappoint. It was so relaxing, grounds were beautiful. The amenities were on point, only laking air conditioning. I had my small hand fan with me so this was enough to cool me down. Room was slightly small but ok for 1 person.. I wanted to stay a further night tho they had no availability. I had a massage and facial, very enjoyable. Will visit again.

We stayed three nights and found the hotel clean and well maintained. The staff were helpful, particularly the restaurant staff who were excellent. Breakfast had a good selection as did the restaurant in the evenings.

Very big hotel in that our room was quite far away from entrance. Weddings /parties all weekend so was busy but not noisy. Spacious bedroom. Clean. Good breakfast. Lovely choice of cocktails but a bit pricey. So was wine but then it's a hotel with not much nearby so was willing to pay. Lots of helpful staff. Dinner was great. Well kept grounds to walk around. Only thing I asked for - hair conditioner was unavailable.

We had a lovely quiet bedroom at the end of a corridor. The only thing we could hear were sheep! Comfortable bed, powerful shower and clean room. Didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on that. Pleasant atmosphere, good location and friendly staff. Would stay again when in this area.

Arrived early as attending a wedding at the venue. To be told there was a £20 charge to allow access to the room even though it was already available. This had not been mentioned in any previous correspondence or calls. The room was average at best and the hotel was very badly signed. The only directions given for the room was turn right at the end of the corridor, no mention of multiple flights of stairs or changes in direction to eventually find the room at the back end of nowhere. My wife has limited mobility and if we had been informed of the sprawling nature of the sight would have asked for a room nearer the reception area.

Good communal hotel facilities. Room was very very small and not well maintained. For example sink didnt drain, toilet didn't flush properly, shower pressure was not consistent. Safe was at floor level. Fan in room but no aircon. Spa was nice but pool edge was a bit scummy.

I booked this trip as a special 25th Birthday gift for my daughter and told the hotel. My daughter was so upset, she said that she was treated so rudely and disinterestedly. The pool was murky, the spa facilities only fit about 4 people and the spa area was absolute crammed that you couldn’t enjoy it. I’m so upset by this. We have never had such an awful and disappointing experience and it was not cheap either!!

Absolutely Perfect! I know, that's a lot, so the headlines are: Location: stunning. Grounds and gardens beautifully maintained. Staff: Friendly, helpful, professional and engaging. Rooms/spaces: immaculately clean, well appointed and comfortable. Food: delicious and generous; I really appreciated the thoughtful vegetarian and vegan choices (the papardelle is delightful, oh, and the tiramisu...) Specific shout out for Dagmara in Harry's, she's just so good at what is an incredibly hard job. She's constantly scanning the restaurant to look for that customer trying to attract the attention of staff. She's friendly and personable. Answering customer questions and ensuring customer satisfaction - all with a professional persona and genuine interest in customers. Highly recommended, would love to return.

The hotel lacks soft close doors meaning doors slam all night long. The pillows had separated and felt like sleeping on clumps of cotton wool. My partner is a pest controller and found they have a problem with carpet months after finding two in the bedroom on entry. We left early and didnt stay the second night.

Having sold this hotel to clients in the past, I was looking forward to staying at this hotel but I was disappointed. On arrival, I found the checkin process very transactional, zero warm welcome and no enthusiasm. I had requested a dinner reservation via email but as I didn’t have a response, the receptionist suggested I went to the restaurant myself, I suggested she called for me! My room was clean ish but standards could be improved. My room wasn’t serviced so this was annoying after a 12 hour day out. I explained to reception and received another transactional answer with an edge of sarcasm. The staff in the restaurant are very good. Food is ok and a good choice.
