The stay was a nice one. The hotel is just nearby the train station, and there was even a screen displaying the train timetable. Frontdesk staff were very friendly and helpful, making the stay pretty smooth.

The room is clean and the staff are very welcoming. Only one gripe is that the window in our room felt it was open as we could clearly hear the noise outside but thankfully everything closes after 11. The room was on 3rd floor

For what we paid for our stay of 3 nights there it’s not what we expected needs to be cleaned up carpets and rooms below par for us shower very slow needs updating not a happy stay for us .

Housekeeping wasn't as good as it should have been. And the bathroom consisted of a pre-fabricated cubicle. OK for 1 night if on a tight budget, but don't expect much.

Convenience, breakfast and communal areas were excellent. Bedroom was small and beds a little uncomfortable ....but all in all good value and will use again as super convenient

I stayed here as base for going to Newmarket races, easy to get to the station as its over the square and lots of shops and cafes in the station square. I had a good pizza in the hotel bar area on Friday.

Wifi is unacceptably bad and the TV won't even load the TV guide. The bathroom is stupid as has a step and a door which only pulls shut, so you can't close it quietly. Fine if you're on your own, not if you are sharing and its the middle of the night!! £190 for rubbish wifi and a rock solid bed just isn't ok.
