Room 554 is a spacious twin room with a pleasant view across the train station forecourt. An excellent budget hotel with great facilities. Nice staff. Room has everything you need including charging cubes for plugs and USB. Excellent location by the railway stations with taxis right outside. 24 hour bar service, sandwiches and snacks available in the cafe and pizzas available until 3am, great air con. The bathroom pods are not my favourite thing but the hotel is such good value it's not enougg to put me off.

The staff were so kind and helpful when I arrived, and helped me with my luggage and suggestions for how to get to the city center. The hotel was clean, cool, and quiet, exactly what I needed. It was so easy to get there from the station, too. The cafe was great for snacks and drinks, and local amenities were perfect for light meals. The only down side was they had run out of ice and it was very hot, so ice would have been nice. I will certainly use this hotel again.

Nice place to stay coming back to Cambridge. I didn’t know there’s a breakfast place on the first floor XD decent food but I hope the calories later can be printed larger or available online.. friendly staff as always.

Nice clean hotel. Right next to railway sration, food and a few shops nearby. Regular buses into City centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pizza from hotel restaurant was delicious and fairly priced.

The ibis hotel Cambridge has excellent location just few steps from the train Station , extremely convenient and easy walking distance to the city center and the Colleges, pubs and restaurants ! Nice hotel and well sized room, quite comfortable. Highly recommended !

The best thing going for this hotel is the location beside the train station making it easy if you arrive by train as we did (and had a hire car to pick up the next day from Hertz behind the station - a 15 min walk). You can walk to the city centre in about 20 - 30 min or catch one of the frequent busses. The staff appear to be mainly students and we had a bit of a wait checking in as one staff member appeared to be in training (but this was not signalled to us in any way). The room was very small (which we knew), in average condition, and the bathroom was most odd - very clinical, minimalist, with a hospital bathroom vibe. For the price paid, the room and service received was expensive. Not highly recommended.

Really pleasantly surprised with this Ubis. Excellent bar/cafe downstairs open very late, serving pizzas upto 3am! Extremely welcome after a late night out!. Yet, absolutely no noise in room upstairs. Simple rooms but clean and fresh. Lots of shops, bars ,cafes right outside the hotel, station 30 seconds away, taxi rank outside- absolutely spot on . Breakfast was also fabulous. Cracking hotel for a long weekend stay in Cambridge.
