What Guests Say About Their Stay

I recently stayed at Native Manchester and was blown away by the whole experience. From the moment I stepped into the stunning Ducie Street Warehouse building, I felt like I’d discovered one of the city’s best-kept secrets. The way the original character has been blended with modern design is simply beautiful. My apartment was spacious, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in, the kitchen was well-equipped for longer stays, and the overall vibe made me feel instantly at home. It’s rare to find somewhere that combines the style of a boutique hotel with the convenience of a serviced apartment, but Native manages this perfectly. The communal areas are just as impressive — lively, welcoming, and ideal for both working and relaxing. The restaurant and bar downstairs had a great buzz, but it never felt overwhelming. Staff deserve a special mention too: friendly, professional, and always happy to help with recommendations or just a warm smile. Their genuine approach really added to the overall experience. The location couldn’t be better — just a few minutes’ walk from Piccadilly Station and close to everything Manchester has to offer, from shopping and nightlife to cultural spots. In short, Native Manchester exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend break, business trip, or a longer stay, I can’t recommend it highly enough. I’ll definitely be back!

I love the quirky design of the rooms. The rooms were also very clean and tidy. However the bar and reception areas were quite unkept and dirty. Tables in the bar were hardly cleaned after a guest has used it. Hygiene wasn’t a priority at all.

Great hotel with loads of character. Very unusual layout which really works. Good and bar area was good and popular. But I found their digital check in over complex and demanding. Choice not to do it. Also disappointment that there was no room service on a 2 night stay, so coffee and milk was not towed up.

Rooms are nice and well maintained. Had a comfortable stay and location is excellent. However, they force you to do an online check in including uploading ID document. Following my stay they emailed to say they’ve lost my personal data in a breach, which doesn’t appear to be the first time for this company. They also plan on doing nothing to rectify this or compensate people who are more than likely now have details used for fraud or be victim of very specific phishing attempts. Having to now change all passwords and consider cancelling my ID docs marred the overall experience.

Huge studio room with kitchen and lounge area. Nicely decorated and clean. Only downside was the noise from the fire doors at 5/6 am with comings and goings. We were in Ground flour room 1. Also no aircon which would be a problem on very hot days as windows don’t open either. All in all would come back again if price was right as convenient location and comfy room.

Booked a 2-bed apartment for August Bank Hol weekend with friends. Got upgraded to a penthouse suite- absolutely incredible place to stay. Bedrooms were massive, beds extremely comfortable. Duplex penthouse had 2 balconies and ample space to host other friends for drinks. The complex itself is housed in a listed industrial warehouse which has undergone a very impressive renovation. Location is ideal, right beside Piccadilly station and a short walk to the city centre. Had brunch onsite both days and food was excellent. Have visited MCR several times over the years and stayed at different hotels but Native has been the best by far, will definitely stay here when I’m back!

Accommodation is lovely. Good location and spacious. Cons would be no air con and lighting isn’t great. I did get a message 20 minutes before check in time stating I couldn’t then check in from 5pm which wouldn’t have been too much of a big deal if we hadn’t had plans where we needed to get changed and have friends meeting us for a set time. However, when we got to the hotel the person on reception was very helpful and was able to assign another room for us. I didn’t get their name, but I was very grateful. Overall had a lovely stay
