Clean and spacious, although I found the ‘novel’ experience of this boutique hotel just a digital method of saving costs on staff and it created confusion at check in and at the sacrifice of other human related services. Ok but not one I will repeat.

We stayed at the hotel last year and we had a wonderful stay. Disappointed to find the communal area and restaurant were all closed. The great vibe and excellent breakfast we had first visit was replaced by a very quiet atmosphere and a very basic breakfast offer.

The hotel has gone through a change, Restaurent / breakfast area not around, just blocked off like a building site. When I asked reception about it, I kinda got an answer that was "no, its not available". So where was breakfast etc to be held. Breakfast was servered in boxes etc, I mean serioulsy what a complete mess. Hotel room was very warm, cant even keep the windows open!! No aircon, god knows how you can now survive another English summer, its got to be a health and safety issue for sure, The hotel needs to make people aware of what the hotel is going through, I was totally taken back, have over 10 years staying at this hotel before even when it was known as "The Place", wont be using this hotel going forward, sad :(

Great stay.

Lovely apartment . Very central

Hotel is nice and clean but there is no aircon in the standard rooms, so in a heatwave it’s like sleeping in an oven.

Overall disappointed, the room had no aircon, and no external window, it opened into a large courtyard which has a huge glass ceiling, essentially creating a greenhouse. The room had a ceiling fan but didn’t cool the room. Smart TV wouldn’t connect to the internet. Check in process you complete manually yourself online and receive a code so there’s no real need for a reception. Overall I would say very poor value for money considering it’s more expensive than comparable hotels nearby with much better facilities and amenities.

Was a sound place to stay

Double room had no external window just glazing into the central enclosed atrium. No natural ventilation. No air conditioning. It was 28 degrees C in the room. Requested a fan which was provided but made little difference. Pushed for a different room, with windows (that we discovered did not open) but it was just as hot.

Restaurant/Bar and outside area is unfortunately still closed

Reception were excellent sorting a fan out for me in the heat and helping to quiet down a noisy neighbour playing music incredibly loudly. Rooms are nice and modern.

Apartment was great, centrally located. However no air conditioning during a heatwave was a struggle!!!

Fantastic staff hotel/appartments 100% recommend. Close to the station & city centre.

Amazing place to stay, will definitely be back

We picked a premium studio suite as we had our 3 month old with us and needed a kitchen and space for the pram and cot (which was provided by the hotel free of charge). The room was huge, so much space. The kitchen was well equipped and the ‘how to use’ guides were excellent. The beds were very big and comfortable, the entrance to our room was behind a private door shared with only one other room, which meant any noise on the corridors was prevented. It was very quiet. Staff were extremely polite, breakfast was valuable for the price and parking was underneath the building (although very tight spaces). Everything was provided, iron, hairdryer, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea bags, milk, etc. In the main foyer there is a place to get cookies, a pantry to purchase from and a screen to order an uber. The location is great, a short walk to the northern quarter and ancoates. Excellent place to stay, we will absolutely return and recommend to others.

Great stay but room was ready late

Loved that and old building has been repressed. Spacious, clean modern rooms which retained original features. Easy check in even though early, helpful receptionist

Some pretty awesome rooms! Great service from princess, the concierge. Just bear in mind that there is no AC in some of the rooms, so enquire first

Great location, great apartment, great stay

I’ve stayed at Native twice before, prior to Numa taking over. Things have hugely gone down hill, it is almost like there’s no management or checks of things taking place. Cleanliness is a huge issue, everywhere you looked there was stains, dirt or just things that have been left. When I got into the room the very first thing I noticed was a huge toenail that had been left on the sofa. It was 34 degrees and a very hot day, the bedroom ceiling fan did not work so I asked to change rooms. Even an upgrade to a premium one bed apartment was no cleaner. The sofa had huge clumps of hair and dirt all over and it was unpleasant to want to sit somewhere that had evidently not been cleaned. The bed was covered in stains which was disgusting. We had our dog with us, for £15 per night you get a dog bed, bowl and pack of snacks. Unfortunately some of the people who work there weren’t dog-friendly which made it uncomfortable and unfair, especially when it is advertised. The only good thing was the location. Even the underground parking had issues, the garage door was broken, the automated lights were broken. It was dangerous!
