We love the location and have stayed here on a few occasions. We love how the hotel is so pet friendly. It’s accessible to Bournemouth and Swanage, plenty of walks from the hotel and close to the beach (especially for an early morning/ evening swim). Our dinner was lovely and the breakfast is plentiful.

Check in was nice and easy & Staff where very helpful. The locations unmatched being placed in one of the most beautiful places in the uk. 2 minutes walk over to Studland beach and the nature reserve and just 5 minutes drive to Swanage and Corfe castle. Inside the hotel is a quiet lounge, Mini cinema room, Library, games room and nice leisure facilities. It is very much family friendly and dog friendly also so expect lots of children and pets walking about, All well behaved and not a reason to put you off staying here if youre looking for somewhere beautiful and quiet to stay. Would recommend staying atleast 2 nights to take full advantage of the facilities and surroundings.

The Knoll House Hotel has a lot of character and some charming communal rooms (a bar, lounge and games room). From the front loan you have an amazing view of the sea. There are also other facilities, such as the outdoor swimming pool that is a plus, especially on a warm, sunny day. It is situated in a lovely, quiet area by the Studland coast and just a short walk from the beach. We stayed in a room in an annex at the back of the main building and it was quiet and pleasant. The breakfast in the morning is good quality and the restaurant area is very spacious with large windows to enjoy the view outside. This hotel is a time capsule, a nostalgic trip to the English seaside.

Knoll House has an enviable position overlooking Studland Bay. We stayed in a garden room for 2 nights which we found a bit cramped and had no wi-fi signal. Our tea tray kettle had to be plugged in on the floor. The food was good quality. The staff were helpful and friendly. Car parking was on a come first basis and we were lucky to get the last obvious place about 6pm on Sunday. The hotel feels comfortable, if a little tired, it is family friendly. The hotel we found clean. We are happy to return but next time opt for a room in the main hotel.

The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was that The food was a bit too expensive for 4 of us to afford each day, so we had to go into Swanage to eat dinner most of the time.

Property was "tired". The shower sprayed the floor - the fan and towel rail did not work - reported to reception and it was repaired / switched on on the second day of our stay. The parking of cars was extremely difficult and at times impossible to achieve.

Interesting and rewarding hotel to stay in - in a beautiful park of the UK. Unbearably hot - my goodness they could save so much money by turning the heating down a degree or two. Staff were surly, but then again they are British! Dubious levels of decor and organisation, but good enough. Mostly, I rated this hotel - I'd come again.
