the bar and restaurant are excellent, the rooms clean but a bit tired and the landings and corridors are in poor condition

Parking was good if a little tight for a big car. This was particularly useful in a town where parking is horrendous.

Stayed for 1 night in small double (room was still a good size). Hotel is really well located. Have stayed here a few times and always provides value and a good experience.

Our room was on 3rd floor. Absolutely tiny. I think the mattress was as old as the building, when you laid on the bed all you could feel was the hard divan base. The TRV on the radiator didn’t work so it was absolutely red hot. The wood chip wallpaper on the ceiling was all cracked and coming down. Lovely breakfast. There are lots more nicer hotels in Harrogate

Having travelled for work for the best part of 5 years, I'm no hotel expert however this by far has to be the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Where to begin - £15 parking would be reasonable if I was staying in London however to charge a high fee for a parking garage with limited space and poor lighting feels abit cheeky. However, I was happy to overlook this as I appreciate I'm in the main town centre of Harrogate. The problem began with our double standard room, it was small to say the least with no fridge, limited space to move around and the floorboards where uneven with what I can only describe as council contract carpet that smelt. The bathroom was even more small but I was impressed in how they got a bathtub toilet and sink in - kudos to the interior designer. Whilst clean it was clean and clearly had been refurbished recently the size really did let it down. Unfortunately the room was placed right underneath the beer garden so sleep was out of reach since the bar didn't close till gone past 1 am it seems. Walls and floorboards were thin so could here every footstep, cough and noise from all the residents staying that night. Lastly, the bed was so budget you could feel the springs in the mattress. Pillows came from the 99p store ! How this was rated as 4 star is beyond me at best this is 2 star B&B. Avoid I left the next morning despite having one more day paid for, that's how bad it is !

The check in was excellent and very efficient. The hotel decor is quite dark and in some places in need of a touch up as was out room, although the room was well appointed and comfortable.

Very nice hotel, room clean and facilities were good. Food very good and a drinks quite reasonably priced.

The room was excellent. We would definitely go back. If i was been picky the hot water pressure wasn't very good .
