Room was clean and quite large but there were a couple of faults, the curtains did not close properly and were far too small and thin and the light did not work on the dressing table/desk

Our room was not the one advertised and that I thought we were staying in.. very poky and the bathroom a little grubby… so so disappointed. The hotel is so lovely though and the breakfast was 11/10. The badger bar is very popular.. will stay again but check the room before unpacking

We stayed in a deluxe double in the annex building next door. The room had no supplemental dead bolt lock or indoor security chain. So anyone with a card key could have entered the room. I told my teenage daughter that she should not stay in a hotel room without a way for her to secure the door from the inside. My mother's room in the main hotel had an indoor security chain. I encourage the hotel to rectify this situation for the rooms in the annex.

Great place to stay with excellent food in the fat badger pub and restaurant. We had the sandwich and chips option but will have to go back for the Sunday lunch - it looked great and was obviously popular with regulars. Great drink options including landlord, dark landlord, black sheep etc, and reasonable priced cocktails.

Decent enough room for price , good easy check in however 15 £ to park on the property is a bit steep. Could do with a bit of a touch up in various areas ( paint, carpet runners etc) Nice bathroom, and a nice restaurant and fat badger bar ( very popular)

On line booking states parking is available. Why doesn't it say at a cost of £15.00 per night. Rooms advertised as apartments. They are quite simply hotel rooms.If we had a standard room I,m not sure what size a cosy room is.

Great hotel - definitely worth booking a large style room. Harrogate has some amazing dining options all within walking distance of hotel. Bedroom theming is fab. Bathrooms super clean but could do with refurbishment to make them more modern. Hotel has a real buzz.
