Nice spacious clean room. Had booked private bathroom which turned out to be the worst decision as had to venture out in the hall to the bathroom during the night. The bathroom was literally that... a toilet and a bath. No shower!!

We have stayed at the White Hart on several occasions and love it here. Full of character but with all the modern facilities you would expect. The Cosy Double room was clean, comfortable and surprisingly spacious, and the breakfast was lovely. We also had a really good evening meal at the Fat Badger bar.

I stayed in a standard double room, it was a little bit noisy due to the squeaky floor boards in our room and surrounding ones. Room 213. Breakfast was good but sausages were a little dry and we had to wait for bacon (when it came there was a big rush which left none again and another wait for others. Staff were friendly

Excellent location in town centre. Car parking fair for town centre location. Food was delicious. Overall very clean and well decorated. Bed was much too firm for me.

Incredibly small room. Not even big enough to stand the ironing board. The room walls aren't sound proof. Heard conversations from neighbouring rooms late into the night disrupting my sleep.

Excellent stay, staff were very friendly and room was extremely comfy and clean. Location is perfect for shops, restaurants and bars. Great that we could leave our car on the car park longer for a small charge.

Very good hotel, centrally situated close to all shops and amenities. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious a modern bathroom with powerful shower. The Fat Badger restaurant was superb very well mannered staff, the food was excellent and very busy would advise to book. The bar area was also very busy with a good selection of wines, beers and spirits.
My only gripe was the cost of the car park, it seemed quite steep for people residing and spending money within the hotel and not receiving a discount of sorts. I would definitely stay again.

Night's sleep " spoilt" by idiots coming in drunk around 3.30am, but that's not the hotels fault.

comfortable traditional hotel refurbished. Room on the top floor ok for one night but fairly small made more claustrophobic by the view from the windows being half blocked by the parapets of the edifice.

The car park spaces were tight and not easy to manoeuvre into or exit from. On leaving the card given by a receptionist did not function which necessitated me blocking the barrier as I had to go to reception in order for the barrier to be raised from the office
The 225 was very small and not good value for what I paid. We were only guests for two nights celebrating my wife’s birthday and was disappointed by the accommodations.
