This was the perfect stay for a couple of nights to reset my internal clock before flying off to Australia. On the beach, lots of food and bar options nearby, and plenty of options for nature if wanted. the front desk was super helpful. Best Marlin in coconut sauce I’ve ever had!

The room was clean and the location was good. However, the staff could be more friendly and welcoming. They didn’t interact much with guests or ask if we needed anything during our stay. The food was also very disappointing and could be improved significantly.

Rooms are basic but clean, I really wanted my own space and a break from a dorm room. Dinner at the hotel restaurant is probably one of the cheaper options along the beach strip of other hotels. Laundry service was only $18 for a bag and same day return. I’m lactose intolerant and they don’t stock any alternative milk options but there is a supermarket at the end of the road and you can pick up supplies there. Staff arranged hotel transfers for me which was much appreciated and fairly priced as well

We had to cancel our trip at last minute and we were very disappointed they would not refund our payment or even at least half payment on compassionate grounds, they did eventually refund 2 nights out of the 11 we were booked for. Airfares and insurance didn’t hesitate, full refund or credit. Think they need to look at compassionate refunds

The economy room is basic and a bit noisy as between reception and bar, but it is good value for money. Check if the airport shuttle is actually running - I was out in a “taxi” and the driver wasn’t very happy that unpaid $20 at reception but he only gets $10. Better to get taxi on street.

Nice to have a long beach to walk on, especially West after crossing the stream. Pity the local hotel owners don't assign a few staff to remove rubbish from the beach for everyone's benefit. Enjoyed my stay at Aquarius especially the nice pool and helpful staff.

The hotel was nice for our day use. We came off our cruise ship in the morning and has a late flight from Nada International Airport. We didn't want to sit at the airport for over 12 hours. The receptionist was able to have a room for us. We had lunch at the hotel. Had a Relaxing time at the pool and beach, took a nap and shower before our flight. The price the hotel at the beach was amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay.

It did the job for the last night we needed close to the airport but also getting to see the beach there. Wifi was not the best and had the lights from the hotel next door shinning into our room until 9:30pm but it made it very hard putting our baby to sleep so had an awful night as he was not 100% so could not play videos to calm him down faster. Properly dated but clean. Could do with a blanket on the bed as I was shivering with just a sheet.

I didn’t use the airport shuttle but a taxi was the same price $20 flat fee one way. Check in was easy and fairly quick. I was “lucky” to be assigned a deluxe room on the ground floor in the car park. Let’s face it, you’re only in your room to sleep so if you can sleep through the sounds of footsteps at your door late at night or early in the morning… complete bliss. I booked a standard room across the driveway for the next night (for day use before late night flight) and the difference to “deluxe” is negligible. Air conditioning worked well on both rooms. Hot water non-existent. Staff were friendly but not outstandingly so. Pool and grounds were nice and always clean. The beach was tidied up daily and a giant pile of rubbish and debris is piled 20ft high 60m to the north )yes I understand a cyclone had gone through there a few weeks before. I still wouldn’t swim immediately out front of hotel. The restaurant was decent, will recommend the chicken fettuccine, however I would steer clear of the pizzas… think reinforced cardboard crust(toppings so so). Breakfast of scrambled eggs, lots of bacon and a medium rare sausage with hashbrown and toast was good, as was coffee(plunger). It was not very busy and each restaurant visit I felt the need to go to the bar to order. Hotel wifi worked well in restaurant but was very spotty in room and far side of pool (a different connection in each). Regular mobile was restricted to 3G it seemed; plan accordingly. Overall worth $125
