Aquarius on the Beach

We travel require and this accommodation was the worst we have ever come across, checked in around 8pm and our room was right next to the reception desk, I asked if this room was a quiet room as we wanted a relaxing holiday, we were told yes quiet room, heard reception staff arriving around 5.30am giggle and talking right outside of our room, the room itself would have been straight out of the 80’s, nowhere to store anything had our suitcases on the floor and there was nothing to even put you toothbrush in the bathroom, needless to say if you wanted a warm shower you would need to put the water in the sun for some time, really wasn’t a good start to our holiday, the bed must have been over 10 years old, not great for my back, no blanket provided had to ask for one, the tv came on randomly all hours of the night, was told to unplug at the PowerPoint. Reception staff were terribly rude and not friendly at all, very blunt like we were an inconvenience. The boat bar adverted on there site is no long in operation, this is also a cashless property, which would suit some tourists but we generally take cash with us so we can see what we are spending. And the wifi didn’t work most of the time. After spending a few nights we decided to move to a different venue. I would not recommend staying here, ever.

Staff was efficient and very accommodating; the room facing the beach was clean and everything we needed for 2 nights.

this hotel is ok, the room was clean, no elevator, staff was nice, the ocean view room was located above a bar and swimming pool area. there was a lot of noise late into the night, which made it difficult to sleep

The bedsheets were not clean. It had blood stains and I could feel sand grains on my feet when I was walking in the room. However, the waitress and front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. The area around the property is excellent if you are a party person.

Staff was awesome! Location was great. Transportation was easy as there are lots of taxis and a local bus to get into Nadi. Clean pool and area around it with lots of seating and view of the ocean. Rooms were small, but had a great balcony and fridge.

They are a budget hotel, located right on the beach with amazing customer service. A large bag of laundry cost $9 for them to do and they had it back to us in 4 hours. The meals were good and their pineapple smoothies were delicious.

This is the perfect hotel to stay in for a few days and take in the local atmosphere. I also recommend this hotel if you plan on spending most of your days outside or on adventures and excursions. The hotel was great for the people who like to be outside all day and crashing for a nice air conditioned cool sleep at night. The staff is warm and welcoming at all times. They will help anyway they can with whatever questions you may have. This hotel also has the best Kokodva / ceviche on the entire strip of hotel properties. Which I recommend you spend some time going to see what foods the other hotels/resorts have each comes with it’s on experience and take on cuisine and luxuries. Things to note, the beds are firm and a bit older than some luxury ones you may experience. The pool is cleaned daily for about an hour which is lovely but sometimes the pools dye will get on your skin/clothes. The rooms are also cleaned daily so make sure to move your cases out of the way so the staff can sweep away all the sand that tracks in with you. If you are a dog person be prepared to also fall in love with the local beach dogs that will come and sleep outside the resort and just want to be around some company. All in all we had a great time as a young couple experiencing Fiji for a few days as we jetted off to another spot. I would return to the Aquarius for the staff, the food, and the price for sure.

Staff were friendly, located on the beach and while the facility is dated, it’s very comfortable, clean and has everything I need just for 1 night.

Right on the beach. Pleasant walking beach. The basic room is very basic. It was clean and adequate for a short stay. Staff are amazingly friendly, fun and a smile every day. The food is very good and of nice portions. Supermarket nearby, and other hotels for eating options.

The food was excellent and the staff was great. We stayed in room 6 and unfortunately it was extremely dirty and there were ants everywhere.

Standard room was old. Bathroom terrible dirty. Window opened our to a smelly passage way where staff made noise. This room should not be sold to guests. Whole place needs a revamp. Receptionist needs to learn some customer service. Would not stay again. Taxi they fot use was not a taxi. Very dangerous driver!!
