Very clean and modern. Conveniently located, everything walkable, bus stops around the corner, perfect for solo traveling. Only little thing is that there was a weird smell around the hotel some days, could smell it from my room.

A beautiful, clean hotel. Excellent staff (front desk, wait staff and bar staff at Brass bar and kitchen.) Great area to walk around, lots of shopping and dining options. Very highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!!!

This play is amazing and probably the biggest nicest room for the money in Reykjavik. It’s right on the main road where all the bars restaurants and shops are, the only downside is the people that work there. They never smile, they never say hi when you walk inside the hotel, when you ask them questions they look bothered. It’s not a culture thing either bc we stayed at 4 other hotels and customer service was excellent.

Morning staff was nicd, after noon staff not firendly , i was informed that my booking had breakfast included wasnt informed until the 3rd day that it was and was charged a lump sum for it

We loved the King Deluxe Room with the Balcony. (Although a shared balcony). The bed was very cozy, the bathroom was clean and the shower was great! The view from the balcony was very nice. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful! Would definitely stay here again. Conveniently located so we walked everywhere in the city. The only thing I can think of that might need attention are the benches outside on the balcony were a bit weathered. But it didn’t really phase me. Highly recommend Alda Hotel!

We wanted a smaller hotel with less floors and Alda Hotel was perfect. We stayed in the King Deluxe with Balcony. The view was amazing and we loved being able to step outside. The room was spacious, it was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The location was ideal with a Bonus store for groceries, a lot of retail/souvenir stores and food options within steps of the hotel. The bus stop for tour buses was only a 3-4 minute walk. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

I liked everything except when we showed up early due to our plane getting in early, they couldn’t just expedite a room a little earlier but instead they could get me an upgrade at a hefty price. I know it’s economics and capitalism but I still felt like an idiot for doing it. I was just tired.

We stayed here our first 2 nights and returned our last night while in Reykjavik, Iceland. The rooms are a great size. Beds are comfortable. The location is amazing. The restaurant Brass which is attached has great food. Staff were very friendly. We were able to check in early. Definitely recommend. Parking garage is just down the street if you can’t find parking on the street.

We will definitely stay here again. Wonderful location, close to bus stop 9 for tours, easy to walk around all areas of downtown, quiet, helpful staff, quiet and great for family stay. This trip was one of our favorites and we have traveled all over the world! Thank you!

The hotel was in a great location. I was a bit disappointed with the attentiveness of the staff. Nothing horrible , just expected a bit more I guess. Housekeeping was not very attentive. I feel like at a hotel of this quality I shouldn’t need to keep asking for things that went unnoticed. Other than those minor complaints the hotel is very centrally located with bus stop 9 being very easy to get to for all our excursions and airport transfer.
