The hotel staff was amazing, We got assistance with early check in after red eye and not sleeping with kids. The property is clean, roomy, center location to all necessities. Was happy that they were able to provide fan and opened window was a huge plus. Can’t thank enough for memorable time in Iceland and for accommodating me and my family

Clean room, friendly staffs, very delicious and healthy breakfast!!! Convenient location with very cheap parking garage down the street compared to street parking. Hot tub is also good and you can use it whenever you want!

Our stay at Alda Hotel was very comfortable. The bed and sheets were exactly to my liking, making for a great night’s sleep.
The location is excellent and made it easy to get to our tour bus pickups. Everything you need is within walking distance, and having a Starbucks conveniently located in the hotel was a nice bonus. The hotel also has a lovely restaurant, and I especially enjoyed the cute outdoor hot tub just outside the gym, which also features a nice sauna.
The only downside for me was the breakfast (I’m a vegetarian). There weren’t many vegetarian options, and the selection was exactly the same all three mornings we stayed. The eggs didn’t taste like real eggs, and the baked beans tasted like they came straight from a can. On the positive side, the beetroot shots were delicious, and there was a nice selection of cheeses and fresh croissants.
Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend the hotel. If you’re a vegetarian, though, you may want to enjoy breakfast elsewhere.

I would highly recommend the Alda Hotel. It is clean, quiet and located near the important areas. It's a very short walk to the bus stops that take you on the various excursions. It's also next to the public bus which is easy to use. It's on the main shopping street accessible to many different (and excellent) restaurants. The rooms are immaculate. The restaurant is great for breakfast. I stayed with my family and it was the perfect spot.

The location of this hotel was excellent. It was close to bus stop #9 which our tour operator picked us up from. It is on a great street filled with shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was filled with a good assortment of foods.
The staff was very helpful with answering my questions, getting us a taxi, and holding our luggage due to a late departure so we could still enjoy the day.
And for coffee lovers, there is a Starbucks attached.
