Alda Hotel Reykjavik

Didn't know there was an airport shuttle for the hotel but all was well. Took the Iceland air shuttle. Food good. Nice people.

Staff were lovely and helpful and the room was definitely clean with a good coffee maker. The breakfast offer needs to be better as it is just too pricy

Hotel Alda was the perfect location for my first trip to Iceland. Extremely close to any bus stop for pick up/drop off tours. Plenty of restaurants around and stores around. The hotel was very accommodating and the room was great!

Great location. Easy to walk to most shopping and cafes in downtown. The geothermal hot tub was very nice. Although small, it packed a punch of 41c. So 10 min was most i could manage in any session. The hotel offers a grab&go in the morning if your up and out early before the breakfast room opens at 7am. Given the high prices of everything in Iceland, having breakfast included was a major benefit. There is a Starbucks and a barbers attached to the hotel lobby, plus a resturant/ bar. I didn't use these options, but they seemed to be busy. The airport- flybus, will drop you off at stop 9, which is 2 small blocks to walk to the hotel.

Great hotel in the center of Reykjavik. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Staff is lovely; rooms are quiet and comfortable and hotel offers all one needs.

The front desk staff was awesome. The could not do more to make your stay more wonderful. They went out of their way to make you feel invited. They fill every one of our requests. Great location! Highly recommend!

Friendly and helpful front desk staff. The in-room coffee was actually pretty good, although there is also a Starbucks on the ground floor. Great location, easy walk to shops and restaurants. Amenities include a hot tub and gym, although I didn’t use either. No on-site parking and on-street parking can be pricey if you don’t search for the cheaper spots. You’ll definitely need the parking apps to figure this out. Beds were super comfy. Only issue with the room was there was some debris under the desk but not a big deal. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Perfect location perfect property for our week in Iceland.

Great, central location. The hotel restaurant and adjacent Starbucks are great pluses. The manager (with red hair) went above and beyond to explain tours with us. She has the greatest personality and disposition which helped a lot when planning our trips during our first trip to Iceland.
