Great location, very clean room and staff were very friendly and helpful. It was easy to talk to restaurants around the downtown area. We were happy with our stay.

Got to be honest, I booked this hotel after seeing the photo of their cakes... they did not disappoint! But it proved an inspired choice... a real gem of a hotel. Perfectly located for shopping and bus stop 9 for tours. Lovely hotel... great breakfast and really good restaurant with excellent food. Room a little small but not an issue as we spent so little time in it. Clean with good facilities. Excellent value for money.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, good water pressure in shower

The room was spotless, the staff were great, and the overall aesthetic was very cozy. I'm not giving this hotel 5 stars for two reasons: first, the cold water in the bathroom of our room smelled like rotten eggs which I found out from a local Icelander is due to hot water leaking into the cold water or due to a regulator issue. It was so potent, we called the staff twice to fix it. They did try right away, but to no avail. And because of this, the entire hotel room stunk daily like thousand year old eggs and even made our jackets stink. We kept our suitcases closed so we got lucky with that. We were in room 403 in case anyone wants to call ahead and double check that the issue has been rectified. The second issue, though not too big of an issue but a minor one since we did book this hotel for this feature was the hot tub--it was dirty, had disgusting water inside it, and overall, did not look like the photos. Other than these two things, the hotel was great! And if the above issues are solved, I'd highly recommend booking here!

Cant get any review as our flight cancellations because of storms in Akureyri .we cant flight to the hotel. Cause of weather. We emails them for refunds or we.come back to complete our holiday after . The hotel refused to make a refunds . We said come back to complete the tour in Reykjavik. They also not willing to give us back credit to stay after the weather get back normal. No helpful the hotel Love money only

Very clean , couple of negatives , room 326 only had one bedside table so we had nowhere to put phone, water, book etc: there was also no drawers to put underwear or socks in !

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Great staff, big room, excellent choice for breakfast - and they even made us a take out bag one day as we had an early start for a tour. Ideal location - couldn’t fault this hotel and cannot wait to stop again next time we visit Iceland. Stayed with partner and 12 year old child, we absolutely loved it

Absolutely amazing hotel, staff were lovely and the location is ideal. Everything walkable distance and only a few mins walk to local bus stops for airport or excursion trips. Room was spacious and clean and loved the hotels facilities. Would definitely come again!

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The bar is a separate company but tried to overcharge us. The room was nice, very simple with less of the high end touches other hotels offer, but bed was comfortable and good for one night
