The location of the Hotel was so Amazing. They have sports stadium just behind the hotel with walk access. The location near by Simpang 5 park. It’s a good place also for walking or hang out during your stay on Semarang. The design of the hotel is good for myself. Simple and felt like home. The staff good and friendly. It’s the most points. Just have disappointed with the water shower. It’s worse because they have 2 ways. The water not really strong. When we have shower, the water will be go anywhere. And it’s not saving water. 😂 I staying on room 1112. If you can fix the water shower. I will be happy. Saving water is important. Kind Regards, Adi

I'm so happy to stay in the first night at Holiday Inn Express Semarang in room 1206, that's why I decided to extend another one night here. The cleanliness is excellent. The only problem is only coming from 2 things. 1st coming from the smell from the towel. Before I used the smell was like mold. And 2nd the guy in the front office not so nice compared to the girls and the young guy (I forgot his name, but I think he is the older) maybe it because when I coming to the reception I was wearing short pants, flip flop, and mess shirt. As a person who also works in hospitality please do not classify people by how they look. The guest is always a guest. Don't show them any fake smiles. But overall I love the food, the cleanliness, the security system from the entrance is amazing.

The Staff were the best among the similar hotel in Semarang! The facility was just perfect! The one thing that the management should really put it in consideration is the lift. It just has 1 lift, additional 1 lift would be great.

Radja Art and Boutique Hotel Simpang Lima
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, primarily because of its strategic location. It's conveniently situated near the city center, a major university, and several restaurants, making it easy to explore Semarang without having to travel far. One of the highlights was how close it is to Pelangi Restaurant, which is famous for its legendary chiffon cheese cake—a must-try and a great oleh-oleh to take home!
There’s also a gelato bar and steak house just around the corner, perfect for a sweet treat after a day of sightseeing or meetings. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, the area has plenty to offer within walking distance.
The only downside is that the parking space is quite limited, so it might be a bit challenging if you're bringing your own vehicle.
