I stayed here for one night on a layover due to an event. Upon entering the lobby, I was greeted warmly by the receptionist. We also provided recommendations before booking. At that time, I booked because I wanted to watch a concert at Jiexpo, so it was quite close. However, because I returned to the hotel at night and there was a night market in front, it was a bit scary when I walked to the hotel.

I checked in around 5:30 PM WIB. However, from the start, I encountered several issues that I felt did not reflect the standard of service at a hotel like Horison. Here are the details of the issues I encountered: 1. Room Condition at Check-in When I first entered the room, I discovered a leak and no bath mat. I immediately complained and was offered a room change, but this situation should not have occurred in the first place. 2. Breakfast Service The next day, around 8:00 AM WIB, I went to the restaurant for breakfast. However, almost all the food was gone and no refills were provided. While I didn't directly address this issue at the time, it was still very disappointing. 3. Violation of Privacy & Security (Very Serious) This was the most unacceptable incident for me. The hotel's check-out time is 12:00 PM WIB, but around 10:30 AM WIB, my room door was broken down by housekeeping while I was still in my room sleeping. I woke up to the sound. Luckily, the door was double-locked; otherwise, the housekeeping staff would have been able to enter the room and see me in private. Luckily, the room was double-locked, preventing any further privacy violations. I shouted from inside to ask who opened the door, but there was no answer. After I opened the door and asked why, the housekeeping staff said they had received information from the front desk that my room had been checked out. What I deeply regret: There was no apology whatsoever from the staff. Instead, I was repeatedly explained the internal information error. The staff only showed me the internal chat without any empathy or accountability.

Actually, I am a fairly regular guest and the service and facilities were fine before, but the last time I stayed at the usual price I paid, I got a room with peeling wooden flooring that almost hurt my feet, an uninstalled shower curtain, minimal bathroom and table tissue, no refrigerator and hairdryer, and slow housekeeping response. Hopefully this can be input for improvement, thank you.

Old but clean hotel... The staff are friendly. Close to the Mangga Dua shopping area. With many food vendors around. Note that yesterday the room sheets were not clean, but asked for a change immediately and they responded. Overall, it's okay. According to the price in the city center

Overall okay, the room is clean, the bed doesn't sag, the amenities are complete, the TV is equipped with Netflix, WeTV & the TV is big, bigger than 30 inches. The downside is, there is a sinking floor, the ceiling near the bathroom is moldy & for motorbike parking is free but there is no security during the stay.
