I came early to the hotel, yet the receptionist greeted me and prepared a room immediately. It was 2 hours before the check in time and my room is ready, excellent service! The room was spacious, Wi-Fi was good throughout the hotel, the gym was well equipped with staff ready to bring you a towel before training. The food was good and tasty. Overall, great experience and will stay here again when I visit Semarang next time.

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay here, according to Novotel standards. The only downside for me was the bathroom: the bathtub, curtain, and powerful shower combined to create a muddy mess. Furthermore, there was no drain/ditch for the water to drain. The only way to do this was to call housekeeping. Better yet, remove the bathtub and replace it with a pure shower, like most hotels nowadays. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience. Bravo, Novotel Semarang.

The room is dark and old with a dark wooden floor that creaked at certain places when you stepped on them. The room probably needs a bit of touch-up but is very spacious with a lovely view of Paragon mall. Very pretty at night. The beds are big and comfy. The bathroom is spacious with a shower over the bathtub. The shower screen needs to be replaced. It is all brown and moldy looking. The cupboard is spacious but needs a light installed in it. We couldn't see much in it, like a cave 😅 The housekeeping staff are friendly and prompt. The bell boy, Rizky, is very helpful. He's friendly and always has a smile. The security staff as well, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is good. Plenty of choices. The staff doesn't interact much but is helpful, especially the 2 staff at the egg stations. They are so kind to make me something due to my dietary requirements. The chef, chef Wahidin, was very kind and helpful. Thank you chef. The location is good, nearby (at the front of the hotel, slightly to the right) a foot bridge to cross over to the Paragon mall. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again if we come to Semarang again. Thank you for your hospitality.

The room is dark and old with a dark wooden floor that creaked at certain places when you stepped on them. The room probably needs a bit of touch-up but is very spacious with a lovely view of Paragon mall. Very pretty at night. The beds are big and comfy. The bathroom is spacious with a shower over the bathtub. The shower screen needs to be replaced. It is all brown and moldy looking. The cupboard is spacious but needs a light installed in it. We couldn't see much in it, like a cave 😅 The housekeeping staff are friendly and prompt. The bell boy, Rizky, is very helpful. He's friendly and always has a smile. The security staff as well, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is good. Plenty of choices. The staff doesn't interact much but is helpful, especially the 2 staff at the egg stations. They are so kind to make me something due to my dietary requirements. The chef, chef Wahidin, was very kind and helpful. Thank you chef. The location is good, nearby (at the front of the hotel, slightly to the right) a foot bridge to cross over to the Paragon mall. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again if we come to Semarang again. Thank you for your hospitality.

I came early to the hotel, yet the receptionist greeted me and prepared a room immediately. It was 2 hours before the check in time and my room is ready, excellent service! The room was spacious, Wi-Fi was good throughout the hotel, the gym was well equipped with staff ready to bring you a towel before training. The food was good and tasty. Overall, great experience and will stay here again when I visit Semarang next time.
