What a beautiful place to stay, room was so quiet, large and the beds were very comfortable. The highlight is of course the breakfast, it was excellent, ate too much but can't blame anyone else for that. The staff and the amenities are excellent, we stayed in Winter and would have enjoyed staying longer, to experience the relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend this location and hotel

This location was very convenient to University College of Dublin, which was why I chose it. But the hotel was beautiful and I didn't take advantage of the amenities as I should have. I will definitely return in April for another visit and will know to spend more time at the hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the spaces are lovely and the grounds looked beautiful (despite the weather not being great).

Lovely stay, welcoming staff, beautiful decor for Christmas. Breakfast fantastic. I am coeliac & they had a separate station for gluten free food. Would definitely return.

The Radisson Blue St. Helen’s is an old-school, stately “Grande Dame” of a hotel, with lovely grounds, excellent character and great bones — something I quite enjoy. That said, the decor, the rooms and their functionality are showing their wear and tear and are overdue for renovation and upgrade of basic amenities. Despite having an upgraded room with a beautiful view, the room and bathroom itself was very dark, plugs were lacking, the bathroom light fixtures were old (and in one case not working at all due to faulty wiring that couldn’t be fixed during my stay), bathtubs/showers need modernization, and clothing storage could use expansion/upgrading. On the bright side, staff were very friendly and accommodating, within the scope of what they could do to meet my needs. I appreciated their efforts. In summary: this is a lovely hotel, but for this price-point I would seek out something more modern, with the amenities one expects at this level. That said, I think it could be an excellent choice again in future, with the upgrades mentioned.

Allocated a lovely room, felt safe as single traveller. Bit dated deco in rooms, still shower over bath. Room was a good size and comfortable. Beautiful gardens that I didn’t get time to explore. Staff at breakfast excellent, reception staff friendly and the Orangerie staff were knowledgeable. Had a noise problem with room upstairs, but staff were quick to resolve.
