Overall, we had a pleasant family stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The staff were welcoming and attentive, which truly enhanced our experience. Breakfast was also very good, with a nice selection and a pleasant atmosphere. The view from the balcony on the 9th floor was absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of our stay.Another very positive point was the hotel’s location: right in front of the train station, with a metro stop just steps away. It was extremely convenient for getting around the city, and there were plenty of great restaurants nearby, which we really appreciated.
However, despite these positive aspects, I was quite disappointed when I first entered the room. I had booked one of the best rooms available and paid around €900 for three nights, so I was truly expecting something exceptional. Unfortunately, some areas felt outdated or poorly maintained, especially in the bathroom: damaged lower walls, a shower seal that clearly needed to be redone, and an occasional sewage smell. The small wooden desk near the entrance was also damaged. For a hotel rated as 4 stars and considering the budget invested, the room simply didn’t meet the level of quality I was hoping for.
I am not planning to leave a bad rating, because the warm hospitality, convenient location, and overall experience were appreciated. Still, I believe that with a bit more attention to the condition of the rooms, the hotel could truly reach the standard it aims to represent.
