The room was very basic. There was no coffee maker or cups or ice bucket or other amnesties except minibar. On the website it says “sound proof room” but you can hear train and traffic noise. The breakfast was good though. The hotel is listed as 4 star on hotels.com but it is literally a 2 star hotel.

Hotel Raffaello, Florence – Extremely Disappointing Experience! I had a very poor experience at Hotel Raffaello in Florence and would strongly advise against booking this hotel, especially for international tourists. Despite claiming to be a 4-star hotel, it felt more like a 1-2 star property at best. One of the biggest issues was their parking scam. They advertise that parking is included, but in reality, there is no guaranteed parking available or may be not there at all. I tried asking them a few times and hotel staff suggested it’s full all the time. I wasted over an hour trying to find paid parking nearby, which I had to pay for out of pocket, completely misleading and unacceptable. Additionally, there is no kettle or way to make hot water or coffee in the room. When I asked for hot water, I was told to go to the bar area, where they charged 1–2 euros for a single cup of hot water. No iron and no cabinets in the rooms. This is not the kind of service you'd expect from any decent hotel, let alone one claiming to be 4-star. Overall, this hotel felt like a complete scam , poor service, false advertising, and a frustrating experience from start to finish. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially foreign travelers looking for comfort and honesty.

We arrive to the hotel at 12, most of the hotels have early check in they told us their check in is at 2 and they don’t have early check in ( which was not a big deal) they said the room will be ready in an hour so we stay there but they keep telling us more 30 minutes!!!! At the end the room was ready at 3:30!!!! It said it has free parking but it was always full and onsite parking was not available so we had to park the car somewhere far from the hotel

The picture on the ad is misleading. The rooms over the garden had no windows but instead there is a lattice- like metal structure that you can’t open. The gym was out of order ,the 3 days we were there. The shower has no door that you can close. The staff can be a a little bit friendlier like the restaurant staff.

I was so grateful they were able to accommodate me rather last minute. I was having a very bad experience with an Airbnb and had to leave early morning . I was very tired but had a scheduled tour of Pisa that afternoon. Leonardo was able to get me into a room early so I could rest and enjoy my tour and he gave excellent help to get me there on the public transportation. I was a single older ish woman traveling alone and they made me feel safe. THANK YOU!
