We loved this hotel! The minions theming was so fun and it was in such a handy place for universal and city walk. The rooms were a very generous size for Japan and the check in process was very straightforward. I would really recommend if you’re visiting universal Japan!

Check-in and check-out were super seamless and the rooms were spacious! Great location and walking distance to usj. Breakfast buffet had lots of variety and service was good. Only thing was they didn’t have bigger van taxis they could call for pickup, but I was able to get an uber van and had to message the driver assigned separately to come to the hotel since this location wasn’t on the list.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! Hotel Universal Port truly exceeded my expectations. The facilities were excellent, and the room was incredibly spacious, clean, and smelled great. I also appreciated the thoughtful layout—the toilet was separated from the shower area, which added extra convenience. Amenities provided were more than sufficient. The hotel is clearly designed with USJ visitors in mind, as the checkout time is very considerate—you can check out at 11 AM, which makes a big difference after a long day at the park. My room had a harbor view, which was lovely, but next time I visit USJ, I’d love to stay in a room facing the USJ Park, especially because the evening sky looks stunning from that side. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Universal Studios Japan. I would definitely stay here again!

The cheapest Universal Hotel. The location is just across the street from Universal Studios. There is also an official merchandise store inside the hotel. There are many restaurants inside the hotel. The rooms are very big. You can directly view Universal Studios. Check in/out is fast. All the staff are friendly. The coolest thing is the breakfast, there are many variations. If you want to find other food, just walk to Universal City, there are many restaurants. Close to Lawson, walk 50 meters.

The hotel is a stone's throw away from the train station and USJ. The Citywalk nearby also provides shopping, food and convenience stores. The room is clean but no plastic bottled water, you will have to fill up your own jar at the water dispenser at the end of the corridor. Room is spacious with a separate bathroom and toilet. However the mattresses are a tad hard. Breakfast buffet was kinda lacking for the price (around 3k+ yen). Overall, a pleasant experience.
