We were given 1Bedroom Suite ground floor with the water park view. Bonus King size bed and RM20 food voucher. Room was clean and water heater worked well. House keeping, cafe and reception staff were helpful. Love the roti canai, teh tarik and croissants. The beach was clean and a lot of water activities offered at package price. Ideal for family vacation and getaway for a day or two.

Sand & Sandals Desaru Beach Resort & Spa
Love this hotel so much. The hotel is clean and smells good. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast spread is good and delicious. Room is big and spacious however some improvement needed on housekeeping as they did not sweep under the furniture. When i moved the red lounge chair, a lot of dust and sand underneath.
Food delivery was not allowed to enter the premise. We had to walk to guard house and collect our food as we were from the pool and did not bring car key with us. We ordered online because we’re too lazy to go out, ended up we have to walk outside. Such a hassle.
Other than that we were happy with our stay and would definitely come back.

Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast
I would like to compliment The staff from the bell boys to the receptionists to the poolside life guard and lastly the Hard Rock boutique staff , Emma, very attentive , friendly and helpful. Although she is all alone but she manage the crowded hotel guest all by herself professionally . You guys Rocks!!! This is a family with children friendly resorts. They provide free buggy to and fro Westin hotel for everyone to go to the beach . Breakfast was good. The only sad part was the pool was too small to serve full occupancy. The pool facilties and man made beach in Hard Rock resort world Singapre are much better . All hotel guest can use without need to pay additional entrance fee. And the bathroom and toilet need some upgrade . (4/10) Oh lastly the WiFi (omg!!) (2/10) Why provide free WiFi at first place that have no connection most of the time 😑

Lotus Seaview Beach Resort & Spa
Please keep this place a secret! It is such value for money! I would give it a 5 stars even though it's rated as 3 stars resort. Secluded place away from busyness, friendly and helpful staff, plenty of food with big spread of breakfast buffet, the room is well equipped even with a microwave to reheat your food at midnight! Best part it's private beach! Good for families and even corporate team events. This hotel I will regret if I do not visit and stay again, what a GEM!

Inside the resort doesn't have much activities except for in-room dining and it's far from the beach or any sea sport activities. Not suitable if you are looking for the Desaru beach similar.

Staff were very helpful and service was excellent throughout our whole stay. It really does feel like paradise, the perfect place to unwind as a family. Kids especially love the kids facilities here!
