The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk to Jonker Street, Red Square, the mall, and Mahkota Hospital. Check-out time is also a little later, so you can enjoy a relaxed time and still have time to pray in your room before leaving. The room rate is definitely worth it. The unit was big, with a separated living/kitchen area, shower with a huge bathtub in the center, and spacious bedroom. The door to the bedroom can be locked, which gives an added security. Overall, the unit is clean and well maintained. Well done!!

The balcony area is very suitable to have a relaxing sit and rest, the night view was very pretty. The staff was very friendly. They gave us (2 adult) free breakfast and just need to add RM10 for my 6yo kid. It was Saturday, the night market was started at about 5.30pm. Make sure to arrive before that time, otherwise no car is able to come. It is near the city center, many shopping malls, the Jonker, the night market, river cruise, and others are just on a walking distance. Very satisfying and pleasant staying at Quayside Hotel. Will sure to recommend to my friends who are going to Melaka.

I booked this for two friends on a bit of a budget. This hotel was real value for money and exceeded my expectations. My friends ended up extending their stay for several days. Worth taking the slightly more expensive room as it seemed friendly and the view to the outside prevented feeling cramped. Proximity to convenience stores, restaurants, and mamak shop. This is an excellent option for a mid-range traveler.

During my annual trips back to Melaka, we will usually stay at Mercury Boutique Hotel as it is affordable, and strategically located near major attraction areas, malls, and eateries. This hotel is better than Venus, its sister-hotel that's on the same row. The best selling point for us was also the hotel parking available right opposite the hotel, under the bridge/highway. It makes searching for parking stress-free, especially on weekends, where street parking is hard to find and private parking is very expensive. All we needed to do was to walk over to our destination. Generally, the rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, the air-cond is cold enough, and there's a filtered tap to boil our drinking water as well. Sachets of coffee/tea are also provided. Food options are available within 5 min walking distance if you're not particular to have authentic Peranakan/Nyonya food; you'll get the typical mamak, Malay food, fast food, and mall restaurant chains or even the food court, all within walking distance. It's a no-frills boutique hotel that I'll recommend for short stays. Advertised photos are as-is.

My stay in the Executive 3-Room with Breakfast at Christee Suites Melaka (April 6 - 10, 2026) was a great experience. As a group of three adults, having a room type that comfortably fit us, along with breakfast included for all three guests, provided excellent value.
