Krystal Ixtapa All Inclusive

VIP members should have more privileges besides the "skipping the line in the bar" thing.

The rooms were clean, the staff were very helpful and always kind. The food was good. The a la carte were good as well. Only thing was there weren't any chairs on the balcony and no face cloths

Nuestra experiencia en el Hotel Krystal fue excelente desde el primer día. Las instalaciones están limpias, cómodas y muy bien cuidadas. La alberca y las áreas comunes siempre están impecables, y la ubicación es perfecta para disfrutar de Ixtapa sin complicaciones. Queremos reconocer especialmente a Selene de conserje quien nos brindó una atención de primer nivel. Siempre estuvo atenta, con la mejor disposición, y hasta nos ayudó a reservar un restaurante que queríamos probar. Su servicio fue impecable y marcó una gran diferencia en nuestra estancia. También queremos agradecer al señor Casimiro, quien trabaja en Paseo por México. Nos encantó el toque personal que le dio a nuestra visita al compartir parte de su historia lleva 35 años trabajando en este lugar. Fue muy atento, nos recomendó bebidas nuevas y cuidó cada detalle. Su dedicación y calidez hicieron que nuestra experiencia fuera aún más especial. Llevamos nueve años hospedándonos en este hotel, y sin duda regresaríamos.

The concierge team was very helpful and gentle.

The concierge department, Kayle, Selen, and Rafa get getting us checked in booking our VIP perks and in having fish that we caught while we were out fishing prepared by the kitchen with three different plates. Excellent job thank you.

The check in staff were terrible. They were unorganized and very rude. The concierge lady was super friendly and she gave me more information then the front desk lady.

HORRIBLE. Don’t bother wasting your money here, rooms are outdated. No fridge according to the staff it was due too “covid” then we were told another story that it was because they wanted to control the medication that was entering the property. WEIRD FOR THAT EXPLANATION. Oh don’t get me start the food was horrible and I’ve traveled to other hotels which their food was amazing compared to here. LEAKS EVERYWHERE. Not work elevators. Poor management. Everything was horrible worse week of my life. If I can get my money back that would be amazing. Because what was a coupon going to fix anything?!?! JOKE RESORT.

Very disappointed with hotel. Rooms were dirty and in desperate need of renovation. No mini fridge in room and they only provided 2 room temperature water bottles per day. Food options were not good. This hotel was far below the experiences we have had at several other beach city hotels in Mexico. Elevators are horrible. At one point we had to wait almost 30 min for an elevator due to 2 of the 3 elevators being out of order. Will definitely not come back to this hotel.

This was hands down one of the worst resort experiences I’ve ever had. Krystal Ixtapa should not be calling itself an all-inclusive resort – it's more like an all-inclusive disaster. Let’s start with the food. It was nasty – and not just poorly made, but downright unsafe. Birds were literally eating out of the buffet trays, and the staff did nothing to stop it. They just let guests keep eating from the same food, no replacements, no hygiene. Most dishes were either cold when they were supposed to be hot, or sitting at the wrong temperature for hours. Totally unacceptable. The entire place smelled like mold, like it hadn’t been deep cleaned in years. The rooms were disgusting – my supposedly “clean” sheets had makeup stains, the floor was visibly dirty, and the air vents were caked with dust and filth. The doors were chipped, broken, and looked like they hadn’t been maintained in decades. The mirror in my room was cracked and rusting, and get this: there was no refrigerator in the room at all. In an all-inclusive resort, that's a basic expectation. The blankets were so rough, they felt like the kind of sponge you'd use to scrub a greasy pan. Totally uncomfortable. There were puddles of water inside the resort – yes, inside – including in our room. Leaks everywhere. They even had a broken conditioner dispenser that never got fixed during our entire stay. Just left broken, like no one cared. Krystal Ixtapa is not worth the money or the risk. Spend your vacation somewhere else.

The only good thing about this resort is the ocean view. Other than that, everything was bad. Room was not cleaned properly. Found strands of eye lashes on bed and floor as well as random stains and previous water damage patches. Shower drain was clogged. Room does not have a mini fridge and they only provide 2 small bottles of room temperature water. Service from staff was not good at all. Would definitely not return to this resort.

Really nice place to stay.

The hotel is well located in Ixtapa. The food was excellent. We decided to switch hotels to go to another beach (without as many motorized vehicles running in the sea - not under control of the hotel) and they supported us a 100 percent. Madame Keyla y Mister Manriquez were very helpful with Expedia. They also received our comments and took them very seriously and respectfully. The hotel is nice, the service is excellent everywhere. We were just not aware the hotel would have so many kids in the pool and thus we decided to move somewhere else quieter, we were just 2 adults. Excellent option if you have kids. I would recommend it to my friends.

This property is getting old and needs some upgrades bathroom and room condition!

Old property in need of renovation I hated the staff that was in the lobby trying to get you to buy an activity package from them. Constant harassment Check in was incredibly painful! Very slow staff and complicated process Was on vacation and pool closes at 8! Extremely early especially since you can’t use it during the day because its out in the sun with no shaded areas My room on the 9th floor had poor water pressure and the air conditioning was not working… they never offered a solution to this problem and I had to request twice for them to send a fan Elevators are a pain! Only carries 3 people at a time or it will say it’s over weight and will not move

The staff is great and very friendly.
