Overall very good if you are a solo traveler. Room pretty clean, bed is very comfortable, thermostat easy to control via iPad. TV was a bit weird to control via iPad, sometimes it wouldn’t work or there was a lag. I wiped a little dust off the desk and bathroom shelves. Friendly, helpful staff. Location was very convenient for public transportation. Assisted self-check-in was simple. Shared spaces in the lobby were very nice. Great to grab drinking water from lobby. I really didn’t like: 1) the lack of privacy by using a glass shower with curtains that are basically see-thru, and toilet incorporated into the room—really only good for individual travelers or a couple that is okay with this setup. 2) there was black mold in the shower door tracks both above and below. 3) whenever you use the sink water splashes out even being very careful, so you have to wipe it up to avoid tracking dirt and dust all around the room. 4) the room is quite small so if you have anything more than a carryon suitcase there’s not room to open your luggage, also very minimal hanger space. 5) safe in my room didn’t work, 6) whenever I entered the room the window blinds would automatically open, which I found annoying bc I would have to close them again.

Right out of the gate the staff is attentive. Easy check-in and clean room. Cozy? Great bed. The overly designed room is functional, clever and funny. The mix of The Jetson's and A Clockwork Orange make for lots of fun and something to talk about. The humor is the banging toilet seat. Most 21st century homes now have slow close toilet seats. Having such and old school toilet seat is such an over-the-top futuristic room may be a designers gag. The lobby is a great hang out 24 hours a day.

Very querky room small but practical. Once we found how near the hotel was to the trains and trams it made all the difference to travelling around and getting to the central area easily. Hotel staff fine very helpful

Amazing staff, nice quiet area and funky room. I don’t think I would’ve liked sharing it though as the bathroom situation is unusual but as a solo traveller it was perfectly fine. Room spotless and breakfast was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had!

Easy to get to from the train station, warm welcome when we arrived by knowledgeable and friendly staff, cool style and decoration, well serviced, clean room with modern technology. Only downside was the toilet having doors that you had to pull around in the middle of the room which doesnt provide privacy and no way to peacefully go to the toilet and not wake the other person.

Fantastic property and 100% recommend!! Room was great and we liked the ipad controlling the lights and blinds. The hotel itself is a great deisgn and is very clean. Sparkling or still water on tap by the bar. They made our anniversary VERY special which has made it so memorable. Perfect location to central Amsterdam - 1 hour walk or very easy access via metro train or tram. Lovely area and we will be back in future.
