Excellent location

Great location, right next to the station so it is noisy. I don’t mind noise during the night so that didn’t bother me. It is a 2 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal which is perfect! Nice & clean, rooms are very small. No tea/coffee making facility in the room. Breakfast was available for £19, buffet style. There was quite a few options which was nice & there was always enough available. Tea & Coffee was included in the breakfast too.

Great place to stay with everything at your doorstep. Staff great and friendly. Breakfast was adequate with many options. 2 min walk to station was very handy. I would stay again.

The best location. Clean and all stuff are friendly and helpful.

The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the location. The room was tiny with nowhere to put luggage. I will not stay here again.

I booked one night at this hotel because its 2 mins walk to Amsterdam central station, and when i checked in, i was told they had a water damage in the building and will have to move all guests to a different hotel. So they moved us to a hotel in the middle of nowhere (20 mins from Amsterdam central station). And when i asked if they will cover my Taxi from the new hotel to the station tomorrow morning, they said i can try to file a claim and they MIGHT cover it. Also, i still saw guest checking in to the hotel, and i had to use the bathroom so the guy sent me to one of the rooms in the hotel and CLEARLY there were water, i also saw other guests in the hotel. I think they just overbooked the place and wanted to ship people out. I got zero compensation for all the hassle, I would never stay with them again, there are other hotels within same distance.

The Ibis was the only hotel available for 3 people when i book my trip. There's nothing special about the hotel. It was adequate. Location is great if your taking day trips by train. A bartender or some staff personal seemed like he was going to become physical aggressive with me because I walk in the dinning area. There were no signs saying ot was closed or no trespassing. I couldn't believe his attitude. Overall, the hotel lacks charm and personality, smokers gather at the entrance which is annoying. They shouldn't be allow to hang out at the entrance door puffing away. Ibis works in a pinch.

The room and bathroom were extremely small for 2 adults. We were next to the train station, which was noisy. No coffee pot or fridge in the room. The price of the room was definitely not worth it. The positive is that it was easy to walk to restaurants and attractions.

When we arrived after a long day of travel we were met with about 50 other travelers in the lobby who were being told that the hotel had no water, and that no one could check in, and that everyone already in the hotel had to leave. The front desk staff were completely out of their depth. It was chaos. After about an hour we were shifted to another hotel about 30 minutes by taxi outside the city center. Ibis paid for the taxi. The following afternoon we were shifted back to our original booking, with no compensation nor even an apology.

Conveniently near the Central Station and the canal cruise. Also walking distance to Dam Square.

Small room but perfectly adequate . In the heart of everything and easy train ride / walk from airport . Great buffet breakfast

Extremely close to train station which was my #1 need. Easy walk and or use of transit to visit the city. I was on the 9th floor so the sounds of trains were distant and not disturbing. My room (I got the most basic) was comfortable if a little on the snug side. I was able to get a simple dinner at their restaurant - that's all I wanted by the time evening came. The hotel is busy, but my room was quiet and the restaurant/bar area was calm.

The rooms were sooooo tiny, didn’t have room to stand or sit in the room with two beds in the room. Bathroom was so tiny that I had to sit sideways to use the toilet

Nice hotel

This is an older property but was clean and rooms were actually cozy and comfortable. Was quite adequate. Breakfast was not included but available for purchase. An evening meal from the bar was available at night if you wanted a simple pizza or pasta dish. Not a full dinner menu but what they did have was tasty.

Location was central but our room overlooked the train station. Very small room.
