Nice hotel in the old town. Vehicle access is a little tricky as it's a narrow, one way street, but not really a problem. Streets and sidewalks are cobble-stone and flagstone, so dragging a suitcase several blocks to or from the hotel would be annoying. Taxis and über are very cheap in Cusco, so get one two and from the door of the hotel if you have a suitcase. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Normal checkout is 10:00 a.m. Late checkout at noon is available for USD $35, which is not great. The desk are happy to look after cases for hours or days at no charge.

We went in November and it was decorated very nicely for Christmas. Our room was on the same level as the lobby and we could hear everything. Every person that checked in walking to the elevator dragging their luggage. The room was nice but smelled musty. There was no ac, I’m guessing because it was cold in Cusco they thought you didn’t need it. There was a heater. The shower floor was tile which made it slippery.

Staff was really friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and restaurant were great. Management has clearly put a lot of care and attention into the rooms, which are comfortable and well appointed. However, as others have pointed out, the noise from the street is really loud. The windows barely mask the sound and are in need up updating/soundproofing. Would love to return for the great service, but will opt for a quieter spot next time I'm in Cusco.
