Cozy and comfy. Very nice place everything you need is there but the food are a bit pricy
Staff are so kind. I will definitely come back.
Great stay! The place is quite far though.
Good to stay there, good service
Great place to stay. They have very accommodating staffs. The place is a bit far from the town proper but overall, it's great.
We stayed here for a night prior to our Underground River tour. The hotel has an artsy feel, wood carvings, statues, etc. The room is also very clean and spacious. The bathroom too. In the swimming pool is a pool bar, though we haven't really tried it since we were travelling with a kid. There's also an in-house restaurant, which is a bit pricey. They also do room service if you're too tired to get out. As for the location, it is very near the airport and pasalubong center. There's a motorcycle too if you want to explore the city on your own, and they can lend a city map to guide you.
Good customer service. Very nice place to stay.
It was okay. A bit pricey food. I was expecting like a pool side accomodation like what I see on the add but the room given to me is on the far side.

Very Dis appointed/ THEY WILL RIPPED YOU
First day, my partner and I arrived and I ask if I can have ice and they said its for sale. First time in my life been to a hotel that ice is for sale and it was very not appropriate bucket and we complained coz its very un hygienic. They took the ice and place in a plastic. What the?! Your calling your self a 3 star/4 star and you acting like a eatery on the street?! We oredered 2 cups of rice and a green tea and guess what, it had been delivered after 45 minutes for the said ordered. The next day, cup of coffee same issue 40 minutes for the coffee. When you call for room service they will ask you what room number are you staying, for god sake even motels they have already caller ids. Front office not even friendly. Not even smiling when they see you walking pass. All in all staff is very un trained. They dont know what they are doing. For god sake you are working in HOSPITALITY! Work in the goverment if you dont want to give a good service! There is no managers or supervisors around. Most of the staff you will see using there phones while guest is around and dont even care to give a service. We go for dinner and ordered for a glass of red and they give me the flat one. We complained and this what they said. IM SORRY SIR BECAUSE THE WINE THAT THEY GIVE IS ALREADY OPEN FOR 3 DAYS AND WE DIDNT CHECK." What a service!!! But the food was good. We enjoyed it. And thanks to mary joy. But all in all it was a nightmare. Not recommend for anyone. Not coming back at all. Very dis appointed. I felt very bad and sad for the owner. I hope will change in future. Goodluck and Gobless!

True to its name ... an accommodation deep in the forest
The complete name of the hotel is Deep Forest Garden Hotel. It is located along Abueg Road, Bancao Jacana in Puerto Princesa. The place is near the airport ... let us say some 15-20 mins away (depending on the traffic situation). It is not really along the main road, but people in the area know the place and they can give you exact indications as to where it is. As soon as you enter the premises you'll see some wooden carvings painted with fluorescent paint that glows in the dark. The rooms are all around a small swimming pool, making it directly accessible from your room. The rooms are quite spacious, air-conditioned, with TV with cable channels, a small fridge and a private rest/shower room. They have big shells for water basin, which unfortunately makes the water spatter all over the place when you open the faucet. I don't like this! I also wish they would spray insecticides more often to ward off mosquitoes! The hotel has a restaurant and a souvenir shop. Nothing spectacular about both. From the hotel, there are tricycles outside the main entrance waiting for passengers, ready to take you downtown or to the nearby malls. Otherwise you can simply walk to the main road and you'll find some good restaurants (like the Ka Lui, Kinabuch's Grill and Bar, Ugong Rock Grill and Seafood Bar, etc.) or settle for the usual fast-food chains. We also tried one named Badjao Seafront Restaurant. You'll need a tricycle to reach it. As to the facilities and service, I should say that everything was average. The people at the front desk, however, were quite friendly in helping us arrange our tours to Honda Bay and the Underground River. I just wish that the wi-fi system was stronger and could reach the individual rooms without having us go either to the reception area or to the restaurant for a strong signal.

Mixed, slightly disappointing experience
My friend and I stayed here when we visited Puerto Princesa in April this year and had an incredibly mixed experience. The Positives: The bathroom is a really good size with great facilities, and the room itself is very clean. It's really near the airport and the hotel provide a shuttle service both ways. The food is fantastic, especially the curries and squid skewers. Breakfast was also really nice, and on occasions when we were out early in the morning on excursions, the restaurant staff made us a packed breakfast to go The room was very affordable, large and decorated nicely with a quirky parrot lamp and the pool was surrounded by interesting wood carvings, our favourite being one of a snake clutching a wild boar. The Negatives: The room was over-run with bugs and mosquitoes due to a gap in between the door to our room and the hinge resulting from a warped frame combined with an outside light that you could not manually switch off. There are no sun loungers by the pool, so you have to either lie on a towel on the concrete, or put two plastic chairs together, somewhat marring your sunbathing experience. The location was also not ideal, located in a built up area with no views towards the picturesque surroundings Palawan is known for. There is also no beach nearby, apart from Pristine Beach, which is a beach in none other than name, it is just an area of land where you can access the sea. Unfortunately, the hotel and pool area is not nice enough in itself to warrant spending extended time there, meaning the location point is all the more limiting. Whilst the room was cheap, the food and items from the shop were both expensive, I'm assuming due to a captive audience. There was a funny off-putting smell in the indoor section of the restaurant which was fairly off putting despite the really high quality food. The staff were eventually helpful, but every request seemed to come as an irritation to them. Finally, a very minor point, the light from the air conditioning unit was a distracting nighttime presence. Overall, we wouldn't stay again. It's possible to find many hotels in the Philippines that offer a hidden taste of paradise. Unfortunately, Deep is not one of them.

secluded in a world of its own
Pool, pool bar, oversize rooms with refrigerator, cold AC, Very attentive staff they are like busy bees always cleaning and working. Short walk or take ride when you leave grounds go right straight for about 1/2 kilometer and it is fishing docks a must visit see big yellow tail tuna being carried in Wade out to where boats are this is what the island is all about explore I rented car from Rey and drove over 500 kilometers in 8 days.
