Staff was lovely room was fine, bed was superb, the TV signal wasn't the best and we couldnt connect to phones, breakfast was great but could be doing with a wider variety of breakfast cereals, could also be doing with refreshments in rooms if not then at least a complimentary hot drink

Room spotless. Breakfast great. We love the thoughtful touches that this hotel has. The lounge is a wonderful place to relax - I've not seen another hotel with such a large and comfortable lounge - it's like a real living room, and rarely busy so you're almost guaranteed to be able to spread out with a coffee and the papers!

The hotel is ok, nice modern features as with all citizenM hotels. However the maintenance is poor. Door handles hanging off, bedside tables look like they have been chewed by a dog & the blackout blinds were rubbish as they were so bent they let the light in anyway. The room can be controlled via an iPad however this proves difficult when the charger for the iPad is broken. You can order food from the bar downstairs which is great for a quick dinner. Overall the hotel is good for a quick stopover but I wouldn’t want to stay more than a night.

Their was mould in the bathroom which I wouldn’t have expected

Room could massively day with a revamp! Lift still broken from the last time I visited. Hotel is ideal I just think it needs a bit of TLC.

Really liked the open social space on 2nd floor. Felt comfortable and hip. Didn't feel pressure to have to be using bar etc. Was enough just be a hotel guest. Liked smart design in rooms.

No real selection if tv channels, no movies, this was something offered before and was still advertised when searchrd. Made being in the room more like a prison cell. Not great. Good sleep though very hard to control temperature of the room.

Room was spotless. Loved it. Hotel Had a great vibe. My only criticism is not enough plug points and no plug point next to mirror to hard to straighten hair.

The bathroom door wouldn't close and the thick layer ifdust at the window/bed was disgusting. The staff were also unable to stamp my parking ticket despite advising me to park there costing me more money.

For me, this hotel isn't quite perfect - but the positives far outweigh the negatives. The real negatives are pretty minor - but mainly it is about the ipad controls for the room. It's gimmicky and a bit pointless. It's never going to be quicker to log into an ipad, find the section for say lighting and then adjust it - than just flicking a switch in the room. I guess the idea is that this is modern, but it seems a bit daft when you find there are no USB outlets in the room. I guess I don't mind the idea of a self service check in too - some might gripe - but since I wasn't really sure what I was doing, the receptionist pretty much had to steer me through it anyway, so I guess for frequent users this is great - but for me, again, didn't really add much. With that said though - the room was lovely. I liked the bed, it was comfortable - and crucially, the room was quiet and I got a great sleep. I used the co-working space on the 1st floor and it was great. The wifi is great - I had no problems getting connected, and I was able to do some video calls no problem. Finally, the breakfast was absolutely outstanding. A really great variety with options I think to suit many (I saw vegan croissants!) It was really delicious and about the only thing I can criticise is that were I to stay here too long, I would gain weight. Finally, the staff were all lovely. All were really helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
