We really enjoyed our stay at The Scotsman Edinburgh. The staff were warm and helpful. The bathrooms were newly updated, which was great, but there were a few maintenance issues that held the stay back from being a full 5 stars. The shower fixture kept coming off the wall whenever the water pressure was on, and there were several large brown stains on the carpets, which made the room feel a little less luxurious than expected. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel with great service, and with a few maintenance improvements, it could easily be a perfect 5/5.

It’s a beautiful hotel in every way. However, the carpet throughout the hotel needed to be cleaned which I suppose was a challenge during the very rainy weather Edinburgh was experiencing.
