On this occasion, I would like to thank Ms. Alice and Ling (pretty smile duty manager) with other staff for their friendly and professional services. I always stay at Hotel Royal when in Singapore. If it is counted dozens of times and will continue. It is true, Hotel Royal is my second home in Singapore. Will stay again.

The family room was spacious with one king bed and one single bed. I booked 2 family room, however one room turned out to be a twin room with additional “small room” with a sofa inside

The room is spacious, even though a bit old, but the room is very clean and amenities given are complete. I also like they provide water dispenser so we can refill water whenever we need. If you are using MRT, it took quite some time, around 10-15 mins by walking to reach Novena MRT station, but if you are using bus, you don't need to walk that far because the bus station is precisely in front of the hotel.

Please, don't push your luck staying here, I know it's an old hotel, that is acceptable, but cleanliness has nothing to do with it. Came to Singapore during F1 season, and we all know how expensive hotels could get during an international event. Found this hotel with an amazing location. Bus stop is in front of the lobby, Newton food center was around the corner, Novena MRT station was 8 minutes walk. location wise, it's amazing. But when it comes to cleanliness, it was the worst experience I have ever had in Singapore. When I saw a 4 star hotel, I chose it, I mean, how bad could it be? a 4 star hotel in SINGAPORE? I was dead wrong. The room was damp, my clothes are pretty much almost wet the morning after. The collection of dust was spectacular. I don't really think they clean everything during routine house keeping duties. They might change the bed sheet (or maybe not), emptied the bins, but that was pretty much it. AC was not working properly, found my self woke up 3 am in the morning wet of sweats. The room smells funny, they don't serve water in the room, but they do have dispensers at every floors. I mean, it's 4 star hotel! I will not ever come back, and neither should anyone, it was a rip off.

I've stayed here twice. The hotel is comfortable and easily accessible. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, making connecting to the MRT easy. The bedrooms are spacious compared to other hotels. I hope the interiors of the rooms will be renovated in the future.
