This hotel is in a beautiful location, the staff were lovely and accommodating, and the restaurant was excellent. My room was absolutely beautiful. I could not have been more thrilled with the stay.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Luckily they provided a fan, there is no A/C and the room was a little warm. We had a voucher to use in the restaurant for a delicious breakfast with window views out to the river. Central location. It was perfect for our one night stay. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our 2 night stay at Hotel des Alpes in Lucerne for the proximity to the train station and the views. The staff were so welcoming and always interested to know about our activities each time we came in and out of the hotel. We ate dinner in the restaurant our first night; the food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Although breakfast was not included, we ate in the restaurant both mornings and again, the food was delicious. We would absolutely stay here again if and when we come back to Lucerne.

The hotel was in a convenient location only a several-minute walk from Luzern train station and had a bus station literally a stone's throw away. My room was on a slight slope funnily enough.

Very centrally located hotel. Easily accessible from the train station. A short 6 minute walk. In the middle of all the fun and overlooks the canal. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Best location in town, in front of the Chapel Bridge and within walking distance of the main train station. Rooms were comfortable, pristinely clean and with reasonable size. Rooms overlooking the back street are much quieter than the ones looking out the front. Will definitely stay back again.

An older and small hotel but perfect! The location is unbeatable and very convenient for the train station, boat trips etc. I had exceptional breakfasts in their restaurant and a fantastic dinner there. I was surprised at how good the quality was. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. And if you want to get away from the crowds, it’s an easy and stunning walk along Lake Lucerne. Book a balcony room overlooking the bridge if you can.
