The service is excellent. The staff is cheerful, speaks fluent English, and gives easy-to-understand instructions. The room is very clean and comfortable, everything can be adjusted with the iPad available in the room or via the citizenM app. The view from above to see the city and the cars running below is great. What I like most is the bathroom, the water is strong and there is a tropical rain shower that pours water from above, extremely comfortable. I don't want to go out after taking a shower :) Especially, it's close and convenient to go anywhere because it's only a few hundred meters from the MRT station. You can take the MRT, walk, or call Uber if you go further. If you use Uber, remember to check the bill carefully after arriving, if there's anything, report it to the Uber operator immediately. Many drivers see that you are a tourist, so sometimes they think that if you add more money, you won't notice. In general, this citizenM North Gate hotel is great. You should experience it! :)

Walking distance to and fro Ximen and Taipei Main Station. several coffee shops and convenience stores surrounding it. Clean, high-tech and accommodating. Spacious too.

The room is spacious enough for two people. we enjoyed the high-tech feature. We maximized the use of an ipad to navigate the TV, music, lights & room temp. They clean our rooms everyday - we stayed here for 4 nights. Staff are accommodating. Quiet location but near convenience store & walking distance to Ximen station, Biemen & Taipei Main Station.

“Good for the price” doesn’t mean “good”. This place is kitschy, but not in a cute way. More like if I_KEA tried to do kitschy. The iPad to control everything is “fun” I suppose, but it takes a while to load. Don’t forget to shut the blinds before you get out of the shower if you plan to use the iPad to create privacy in a hurry . The only reason this place gets a three star review and not two is because the bed was relatively comfortable. But only for one person - you’d have to crawl over each-other if there are two of you in the bed. Lighting in the hallways and by the elevators would be nice, guys. I guess you’re going for that Gotham city vibe but it doesn’t really work in a hotel. And no one likes trying to use a QR code to check into their hotel when they are tired and jet lagged. I guess the lack of staff is reflected in the relatively cheap(er) room price. I stay in a lot of hotels for work. And I’m usually not this harsh, but I really can’t believe Marriott Bonvoy bought this franchise.

Location is great, within 10 minutes walk to Taipei Main station. You can go anywhere with the metro lines in the main station. Also easy access to the nearby local restaurants. The hotel has modern design with a luxury feeling. Although the room is a bit small, it has a large window making the room very bright. The design of the furniture and layout of the room is functional providing ample space for storage. I would stay at this hotel should I visit Taipei again.
