When I first entered the room, I was really impressed by the layout and color of the appliances. neither too fussy nor too simple. The price I set on the app should be quite reasonable. Clean rooms. Another plus point is when I have to extend one more day, the hotel has charged the same price on the app. really great. I will definitely book this hotel on my next Dalat trip.

This hotel was the most satisfying one for me during my trip to Vietnam. I really recommend it. First, the location is close to the market, which gets really lively at night—there's a lot to see. There are also many restaurants nearby like McD, Starbucks, and others. The room is really premium, including the toilet (though not a dry toilet), and a wardrobe is provided, so everything is complete. The staff are very helpful, especially when I asked for an early breakfast—they were really quick to assist me. If I go to Dalat again, I'll definitely stay here.

The staff was very enthusiastic when asking, lending chairs to sit on the balcony and providing cardboard boxes and tape to pack things. The room was neat and clean. The only regret was not knowing to bring tea bags or coffee because the room only had bottled water and an electric kettle to boil water.

Dining in Ward 1 offers exceptional value for international travellers. A hearty street food meal can cost as little as ₱ 50-100 (approximately $1-2 USD), while a satisfying meal at a mid-range restaurant might range from ₱ 200-400 ($4-8 USD). Cultural Norms and Staying Safe in Ward 1

Understanding and respecting local customs is key to a smooth and enriching travel experience in Ward 1. For instance, it's customary to use both hands when giving or receiving items, especially from elders, and to dress modestly when visiting religious sites. Public displays of affection are generally frowned upon.

When visiting landmarks such as Mimoza or Luxury Hotels And Tours, it's important to be mindful of local protocols. Dress codes are typically relaxed for general tourist areas, but modest attire (covering shoulders and knees) is recommended for temples and pagodas. Photography is usually permitted, but always ask for permission before taking pictures of individuals, especially monks or local artisans at work. Queueing is not always strictly observed, so patience and politeness are valuable assets when navigating crowded areas or seeking attention.

Safety in Ward 1 is generally good, with petty crime being the most common concern for tourists. It's advisable to keep valuables secure and be aware of your surroundings, particularly in crowded markets and on public transport. For transportation, using reputable ride-hailing apps like Grab is recommended for transparent pricing and driver accountability. While taxis are available, ensure the meter is used or agree on a fare beforehand. For emergencies, local police can be reached at 113, and ambulance services at 115.

Filipino travellers heading to Ward 1 should be aware of the nearest Philippine Embassy or Consulate in Vietnam for any consular assistance. It's also wise to have travel insurance that covers medical emergencies. For health, it's recommended to drink bottled water and be cautious with street food if you have a sensitive stomach. Familiarize yourself with the contact details for the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) if applicable. Staying informed and prepared ensures a safe and enjoyable journey.

The best time to visit Ward 1 generally falls during the dry season, typically from November to April. During these months, the weather is pleasant, with cooler temperatures and less rainfall, making it ideal for outdoor activities and sightseeing. This period often coincides with peak tourist seasons for many international travellers, including those from the US and Europe, so booking accommodations and flights in advance is advisable. Conversely, the shoulder seasons can offer a good balance of favourable weather and fewer crowds.

Before departing for Ward 1, ensure you have a few essentials sorted. The local currency is the Vietnamese Dong (VND), but US Dollars are widely accepted in tourist areas, though exchanging some VND upon arrival is recommended for smaller purchases and local markets. Purchasing a local SIM card at the airport is a cost-effective way to stay connected. Essential apps to download include a reliable map application, a translation app, and the Grab ride-hailing app. Always carry a copy of your passport and visa documents separately from the originals.

Visa Information for Entering Vietnam to Visit Ward 1

For Philippine passport holders planning a trip to Ward 1, Vietnam, understanding the visa requirements is crucial. As of current regulations, Philippine citizens are typically granted visa-free entry into Vietnam for a specified period, usually up to 30 days for tourism purposes. This exemption simplifies travel significantly, allowing for a more spontaneous and less complicated entry process. It is always recommended to verify the latest visa policies with the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in the Philippines before your travel dates, as regulations can be subject to change.

The visa-free entry for Filipinos allows for a stay of up to 30 days, and while no specific visa application is required, travellers must possess a passport valid for at least six months beyond their intended stay in Vietnam. Additionally, it is standard practice for immigration officials to request proof of onward travel, such as a return or onward flight ticket, and sometimes evidence of sufficient funds to cover your expenses during your visit. Ensuring these documents are readily available will facilitate a smooth immigration process upon arrival.

While visa-free entry is a significant convenience, it is imperative for all travellers to confirm the most current visa regulations directly with Vietnam's official immigration authorities or the Vietnamese Embassy in the Philippines prior to booking any flights or accommodation. Policies can be updated without prior notice, and adherence to the latest requirements is essential to avoid any travel disruptions. Confirming your entry status before making travel arrangements ensures a stress-free journey to Ward 1 and the rest of Vietnam.

I stayed here for the second time and was really satisfied with the room and the price. It's close to the night market so you can walk to the market via the alley shortcut. Highly recommend. The room was cleaned and refilled with water until the day I checked out. The hotel owner's family is also very friendly.
