Mauna Kea is one of five volcanoes in Hawaii and is known as "White Mountain" due to snowfall on its summit during the winter. The summit is home to 10 observatories and is a great place to observe stars. On this tour, we will visit the Onizuka Center located on the volcano, enjoy a simple dinner and hot drinks at the visitor center.
We will then drive to the summit of the volcano at 4300 meters, where we will climb to the top and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views and witness the world-class sunset.
As the night falls, we will look up to observe the starry sky, our guide will explain the knowledge of astronomy, and we will experience the feeling of being surrounded by stars and take beautiful photos. (depending on weather conditions, tour may be adjusted)
