Visitors, including Grand Prix Singapore attendees, should prepare for these closures as they move around the city during the race week and encouraged to take public transport during this period.

Be it attending the F1 Singapore 2025 or just commuting through the city, planning ahead is crucial to avoid delays. Here is your guide to F1 Singapore 2025 Road Closure:

F1 Singapore Road Closures and Alternatives Routes

The road closures will primarily affect the Marina Centre and Padang areas, which are central to the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix circuit. While these roads will be inaccessible for most of the week, certain corridors will reopen during specific hours on four out of the seven days to ease peak-hour traffic flow.

What time is F1 Singapore 2025 road closures?

Roads around the Marina Centre and Padang will be closed from 12:01 AM, Wednesday 1 October 2025, until 5:30 AM, Tuesday 7 October 2025.

Public Transport Arrangement

As the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2025 takes place on a street circuit, heavy traffic is expected around the Circuit Park. To support racegoers, MRT train services will be extended on race days (3–5 October 2025):

Friday, 3 October 2025 → Last trains depart at 12:30 AM
Saturday & Sunday, 4–5 October 2025 → Last trains depart at 1:00 AM

These extensions apply to both the North–South Line (NSL) and the East–West Line (EWL), making public transport the easiest and most reliable way to get around the city during the F1 period.

When planning your trip to the grandstand, check your ticket for the nearest recommended gate and choose the most convenient transport option—MRT, shuttle bus, taxi, or private hire car. Most gates are within walking distance of an MRT station. Do allow extra travel time as large crowds are expected around the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Bus Services (1–6 Oct 2025)

About 20 SBS Transit services will skip selected bus stops in and around Marina Centre, Esplanade, Fullerton, and Suntec City.

Service 195 will operate from Kampong Bahru Terminal instead of Marina Centre Terminal, missing key stops along Raffles Avenue and North Bridge Road.
