From a pair of duelling, high-speed turbulent roller coasters to a thrilling white water raft ride and a carousel that spins you to the beat of high-energy dance music, you’ll never run out of fun and exciting things to do at Universal Studios Singapore. Check these off your Universal Studios Singapore must-do list and you know you have seen the best the park has to offer.
There’s no way you’ll miss out on the highlight of Hollywood Zone, the immersive Lights! Camera! Action! show hosted by Steven Spielberg himself. Incredible special effects will transform an empty sound stage into New York streets ripped by a Category 5 hurricane. This is a show you need to see!
For the faint-hearted, we advise staying well away from Battlestar Galactica. Get ready to be propelled, twisted and turned at an insanely high speed, and prepare to scream. Choose your side - Human vs Cyclon - and engage in a battle on the world’s tallest duelling roller coaster.
Tip: The Human roller coaster is slightly less scary than its Cyclon counterpart. The white-knuckle ride on the Cyclon roller coaster will leave your legs wobbling long after you’ve come down. No joke.
Sit back and hold on tight as you face the evil Imhotep and experience terrifying special effects such as bursts of scarab beetles and blasts of fire. You’ll be plunged into a pitch-black abyss, one after another, throughout the immersive ride before you can finally escape the revenge of the Mummy.
We may or may not have been fooled by people who are saying the Revenge of the Mummy ride is not a scary roller coaster.
Soar above Jurassic Park on a suspended 4-seater family rollercoaster at Canopy Flyer. You’ll be taken up in the air to enjoy a bird’s eye view of Jurassic Park and most of the Lost World themed area.
Do bring your kids to ride on the back of flying dinosaurs. The kids will most definitely love the ride, especially piloting their own carriages.
Expect to get wet on a thrilling white water raft ride through primaeval dinosaur habitats at Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure. Riders on circular rafts are sent swooshing swiftly on waterways.
Tip: Please note that kids under 107cm are not allowed on board.
By now, you would have heard about the show-stopping WaterWorld, an absolute can’t-miss experience at Universal Studios Singapore. Watch an amazing live show of death-defying stunts (imagine an explosive seaplane crash landing) and explosions of fire and water. Avoid the Soak Zones, the first five row of seats at the arena if you don’t wanna get splashed!
Tip: Make sure to research the showtimes before your trip or pick up a list of showtimes near the Universal Studios Singapore entrance so you don’t miss out on WaterWorld.
Ya like to? Move it! Watch your favorite characters from Madagascar come to life and perform a choreographed routine to the classic dance hit “Move It, Move It.”
Or join in King Julien’s Beach Party-Go-Round! The Madagascar carousel spins the guests to the beat of high-energy dance music.
Before you wrap up your Universal Studios Singapore trip, you may want to check out Universal Studios Store for some cool finds to commemorate your trip - exclusive merchandise from your favorite blockbusters or Disney movies and Universal Studios themed collectables, apparels and stationeries.
Splash your way to fun times with the family at Adventure Cove Waterpark, a perfect destination for the warm Singapore weather. Find thrilling slides, encounters with marine life and fun attractions to be added to your To Do list. Get your swimsuits ready!
Cool off and laze the day away at Adventure River, one of the longest lazy rivers in the region. A little beyond the floating party, you’ll find an underwater tunnel, home of amiable stingrays along the stretch of the river.
Check out the crowd’s favourite, Big Bucket Treehouse. Stand under the giant bucket and feel the pounding of gallons of water coming down on your body. This one is sure to make your day at the waterpark a wet and wild one!
Looking for a thrill? Duelling Racer can give you that, and more! Jump into action and challenge a friend (who’s easy to beat 😂) to Dueling Racer. Launch yourself through the enormous, high-speed dual slides and race down to clock the fastest time. Who do you think will reach the end first?
Tidal Twister and Pipeline Plunge will send you down some speedy twists and banked turns before you are dipped into a splash pool at the bottom. Don’t underestimate this ride, just when you think you may have reached the end, you’ll be swirled again.
Tip: Tidal Twister is a slightly easier ride compared to Pipeline Plunge, so you may wanna try the easier ride first.
Explore the underwater world and get up close and personal with over 20,000 fishes as you snorkel at Rainbow Reef. This is one of Adventure Cove Waterpark’s best highlights, so you don’t wanna miss this!
Tip: All snorkelling gear are provided by the park and will not incur an additional charge.
Those who are up for a bit of a challenge can try the 4-course Rope Course obstacle. You’ll need a good balance and zero fear of heights, though everyone will be equipped with a safety harness.
Or you can head over to the Wet Maze. The fun doesn’t end at just navigating your way out of the Wet Maze, you will also have to watch out for the sneaky water blasters and sprays as you find your way out!
