Mövenpick Hotel Melbourne On Spencer

This is a really well priced higher end hotel experience

While convenient, the area around the hotel is unsafe and incredibly noisy. Our main problem was the noise in the rooms; trams, motorbikes roaring all night and generators. I would think in a new building that sound proofing would be achievable. Also the smoke alarm has been placed conveniently just above the beds so every 30 seconds you are flashed with 2 bright red lights. So unless you are a deep sleeper, I would not recommend this hotel. On the positive side it was clean and amenities were good.

Amazing hotel! Great pool, room was clean and comfy, chocolate hour was delicious and location could not be better. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Well presented, great pool facilities, loved the different water options to fill up own drink bottles including sparkling water. Easy access from Skybus to walk across the road to drop bags off. Will be making this our Melbourne hotel or choice for short stays.

good hotel, excellent staff, great location, good value for money

Wonderfully friendly staff that were always willing to help. We arrived late for our first night, every door was locked. Thank goodness for the young male that helped me settle in quickly to our accommodations. To the other young male that helped me figure out the coffee machine without making me feel incompetent, thank you for your patience and grace. Room was fine for the 3 days we were in town and met our needs.

My only complaint or comment is that breakfast doesn't open until 7am and for early morning travellers like me, it isn't possible to have breakfast B4 checkout. Maybe a small breakfast-to-go pack could be considered.

Loved it perfect location & accommodation was brilliant

Very convenient location, close to Skybus, trams and trains. Rooms were quiet considering the location. Chocolate happy hour was the perfect pick me up in the middle of a busy day!

Loing weekend stay for the Australian Open, close to station and trams. Friendly staff, enjoyed Chocolate Hour, breakfast was good and spa/pool was refreshing. Will stay again.

Had a great one night stay ,beautiful clean hotel with exceptional staff ,truly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in ,the bed and pillows were more comfortable than the ones we have at home lol ,the fittings and artwork throughout the hotel were first class ,only one thing I would say is $50 car park fee is a little high but great access in and out When ever we have a night out in the city next ,I won’t go anywhere else Can’t wait for the footy to start because in virtually opposite marvel stadium Cheers .

Very convenient location if you don't have a car, train and tram practically at your door. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Was abit disappointed with the size of the room though.
