Great value family stay in the heart of Melbourne! Rating: 4/5 We recently stayed at the Pegasus Aparthotel for a family vacation with our two children, and it was a fantastic choice for our trip. The Highlights: Convenient Location: Being so close to the Queen Victoria Market made getting food and exploring the city incredibly easy. Having grocery stores and great coffee shops right nearby was a huge plus for us as a family. Comfortable Stay: The apartment was clean and well-maintained. We stayed on level 18 and the views of the city were beautiful—definitely a highlight of our stay. Family-Friendly Amenities: Having a laundry facility on level 1 was very convenient. While there is a small cost to use it, it was well worth it to have that option available on-site during our trip. Overall Impression: The Pegasus Aparthotel offers excellent value for money. It is an affordable, comfortable, and practical option for families wanting to be close to the action in Melbourne. We were very happy with our experience and would definitely choose to stay here again.

Arrogant dsek staff who refused to let my wife, daughter and three young children check in (who had been caught in a thunderstorm and were scared, soaking wet and cold), because the Hotels.com booking was in my own name. My wife had ID with Medicare card, drivers license with address, and my mobile number as proof of identity. Even after I had uploaded the booking reference number with my wife named as a guest, the smart-arse on the desk said he "couldn't read it. Will never stay there again and will advise my many dozens of fellow travellers we regularly share trips with, not to consider this venue. We have travelled around the world many times and locally dozens of times, and have never struck such a moronic group of desk staff (who by the way could barely speak or be understood in our native language).

The room could have used some attention re: cleaning. The smell of must was strong. The split system was very noisy and unpleasant to run if anyone wanted to have a conversation without yelling. The tv’s internet didn’t work and when I reported it was told they were trying to fix it, but when I checked in again they said it was a system issue… it never was resolved which put a damper on our rainy evenings ability to watch a Netflix movie. The pools chemical was STRONG, eyes were burning even with all of us using goggles, our skin/hair smelled like chlorine after two showers! Buffet breakfast was good and worth the extra costs.

An absolute horrible experience staying with Pegasus! They gave us an accessible room that literally looked and felt like a prison cell. When asked if we can change rooms, they told us there is nothing else available wheninfact they did have something available (as I found later) but needed is to pay extra $. The next day I asked to beoved and they said they can move is but we have to check out of the original room and wait until the next one is available. We waited for hours before demanding that we get a room as we have a baby that needed a bed to have his nap. Their breakfast option were very basic and time consuming, waiting for coffee, customers to make pancakes themselves, slow restocking of the food and drink items.. The only good thing about this hotel was the hot tub. Never coming here again.
